Quote from Hailstream on March 24, 2022, 9:07 amYeah totally. We just moved last month so I’m already running on fumes. Trying to settle in while keeping up with coursework is brutal. Im usually asleep by eight if I dont have a late class. My husband is deployed so its just me and the kids right now. Some days I just blank stare at the screen wondering how anyone keeps going. Coffee helps but only for about an hour.

Quote from Sagefield on September 11, 2022, 4:09 pmHoney dont try to force it. When im tired i just sit in my rocker for ten minutes and hold my rosary beads. No singing no chanting nothing. Sometimes i light one candle and just breathe. Thats enough. Spirit doesnt need a performance. Rest your legs. Youre doing fine even if u sit still all day. Love ya.

Quote from Mistwool on January 16, 2022, 2:03 pmYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.

Quote from Pamela1983 on February 13, 2022, 2:15 amman same. my legs are dead every single night. i try to run but its more like a walk and my daughter keeps screaming at me to hurry up. honestly just sit on the bench and tell them they gotta entertain themselves for like 5 min. saves my life and my knees lol. coffee is the only thing keeping me upright tbh

Quote from Jules1977 on December 3, 2022, 1:55 pmugh same here. I swear, i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Quote from Dellfog on October 21, 2022, 2:04 amI walked away from the gym too. Water retention and cortisol are real messes. I started doing yoga in my living room instead. No mirrors, no scales, just moving. It took months to feel normal again. Your body is stressed, not broken. Give it peace, not punishment. Focus on how you sleep and eat. The weight will sort itself out when you stop fighting it.

Quote from Finvibration on November 28, 2022, 11:10 pmhaha same energy. my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Quote from Wise1988 on July 1, 2022, 5:14 pmSame here honestly. After 2 kids, my energy is basically zero after work. I dont even think about it most days. We just sleep next to each other and thats it. Sometimes we try but im too tired so i say no. It has been like this for years now. I guess it is normal for us moms. My husband understands mostly but sometimes gets quiet about it.

Quote from Heather1970 on November 4, 2022, 3:03 pmyeah it is. i limit how many things i say yes to now. last week i just told a parent i cant help with their child after hours. felt so weird saying no but did it anyway. im done carrying everyone else emotional baggage while grading papers. just doing the bare minimum for anyone who isnt my immediate family these days.
