why is getting energy after 40 impossible ??
Quote from Julie1976 on May 3, 2024, 4:29 amThat sounds like a lot of work. I keep my husband happy on weekends so I can sleep in during the week. We also have kids so weekends are basically for family time anyway. If he wants that much energy maybe he can focus on his own hobbies. Honestly I just want to rest too. My body gets tired from work and looking after the house.

Quote from Poolash on December 25, 2024, 1:45 amHoney that is just hard. I told my man if he keeps doing that I am sitting down. I dont cook clean and raise kids alone. We made a schedule last Sunday after service. He does dishes and laundry I do dinner. If he complains I tell him to talk to my sister. Yall gotta make him pull his weight.

Quote from brass堡 on November 27, 2024, 2:35 pmi usually just stop talking. him calling me sensitive is classic gaslighting. i walk away and let him sit in that energy. my spirit cant be drained by that nonsense. ur feelings are valid. dont let him rewrite ur reality. sometimes the best revenge is doing nothing and letting him feel the weight of his own words. stay grounded sis.

Quote from RainSummit on November 10, 2024, 8:54 pmHonestly same. That humidity gets to me every single night. I stopped trying to fight it and just bought those gel cooling pads for the mattress. Works a little better than flipping sheets. Also keep a damp washcloth by the bed and rotate it in the freezer. Not glamorous but it helps me get maybe six hours. Good luck out there.

Quote from Boldpageant on April 18, 2024, 11:37 pmHonestly same here. Ngl, I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from ferncoupon on September 2, 2024, 9:54 amomg same energy. honestly i just leave it there til he notices himself. if i keep doing his chores he never learns. plus my family is big so there’s always dishes piling up anyway. i just wash mine and let his rot. not my circus not my monkeys. lol.

Quote from Wildflower1995 on September 14, 2024, 7:39 amhonestly i stopped trying to force myself to the gym. it just wasn working for me. now i just do 20 mins of yoga on my living room rug when i have time. some days i skip it and thats ok. no guilt. just moving my body because it feels good, not because some schedule says i should. keep it simple and dont beat yourself up over missing a day.

For real, i always just ignore them cause usually theyre just distracted by their own workout. last week some guy kept staring so i just put my headphones on louder and kept moving. dont let it get under your skin really. just focus on ur set and pretend he doesnt exist. hope your day gets better tho
