Quote from Sunbailey on April 5, 2024, 10:25 pmhonestly same. ive stopped trying to meditate every morning and guilt myself for missing days. now i just do what feels doable. sometimes its five minutes of breathing, other times its napping. im done performing spirituality. i teach second grade so i deal with chaos all day, im not adding mental load. just be kind to yourself.

Quote from Songdyke on March 19, 2024, 8:59 pmnah not weird at all i work two jobs up here in the hills and by the time i get home i just want to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. my husband gets it too we are basically roommates sometimes and thats fine. dont let anyone make you feel guilty for being tired. rest is important.

Quote from Carolyn1973 on October 26, 2024, 9:13 amhonestly yeah. im just hitting the gym hard rn. nothing fixes my spiraling like lifting heavy weights til i cant breathe. then i go home, eat some good food from abuela, and watch trash tv. simple routine. not trying to be spiritual or anything just need to shut my brain off for a bit. its kinda loud in here sometimes.

Quote from Moonrime on September 26, 2024, 10:51 pmSame. I just walk fast around my neighborhood after clase. No gym, no counting macros, no expensive supplements. Just me and my thoughts. Sometimes I lift heavy boxes at work and thats enough resistance for me. I drink water and try to sleep 7 hours. If I feel like moving, I dance to bad bops in my room. Its not pretty but it keeps me sane. Why overcomplicate it when simply staying alive already takes so much effort?

Quote from Isabella1993 on June 23, 2024, 5:14 pmI literally just told my man to take over every other weekend. No negotiation. If he wants to be a dad, he steps up. I used to do everything too until I got so tired I just stopped caring. Now he handles bedtime and laundry on his days. It’s not fair but it’s necessary for my sanity. Just set the boundary baby.

Quote from Beth2002 on March 3, 2024, 10:24 ami been there. For real, started getting really tired and holding water when i hit forty. went to the doc and got blood work done. turns out it was just perimenopause hitting hard. took a bit of adjusting but knowing it wasnt permanent helped. also cut down on salt cause that bloating was awful. hope you feel better soon.

Quote from bright1981 on October 19, 2024, 3:31 amHoney honestly at 54 i am just so done. Kids are grown and i got my garden to tend to so that clock just stopped for me. My husband thinks im cold but nah im just tired. We watch tv and hold hands most nights and that is perfectly fine. Dont let nobody make you feel bad about needing rest instead of racking the barn. Peace is good too.

Quote from tailmill on July 13, 2024, 6:46 amnah i think three years is pretty standard for the hickey phase to fade lol. i stopped checking bumble religiously after six months anyway. now its just another utility app i open when i have nothing better to do. the novelty wore off much faster for me but i still swipe when im bored. dont overthink it. itll get mundane

Quote from Sunlitrain1990 on July 27, 2024, 8:48 amnah i dont wait for him. i just do my half fast then relax. if he complains i tell him to do it himself or shut up. we made a schedule so i know when hes supposed to clean. if he doesnt do it i just leave the mess for him to deal with. stops whining when he has to mop his own floors. dont overthink it just set boundaries.

Quote from spireinsurance on September 6, 2024, 8:25 pmhonestly i just ice them for 20 mins right after and take ibuprofen. we move every 3 years so i dont have a regular PT and literally cant afford to take days off work. just stretch hard before bed and try not to jump around so much tomorrow. knees are wrecked from all the boxes we drag into these tiny apartment moves anyway. lol.
