Quote from Rubyswan on June 14, 2024, 4:42 pmyeah its totally normal. i lift heavy twice a week out here and my quads are trash for two days straight. cant even climb the stairs to get up without groaning. just keep moving a little bit. drinking water helps too. if it burns too bad try some heat. don't expect to walk normal tomorrow though. just tough it out.

Quote from Amber1982 on June 11, 2024, 6:21 pmhonestly i dont even know what he means. i just want to feel good. if he thinks asking for what i like is too much then he has bigger problems. i just say what i want clearly cause its not mind reading. if hes mad about that then ima send him to therapy not me. we are adults here. stop making it complicated.

Quote from firetooth on October 22, 2024, 1:58 amOye girl, that sounds exhausting tbh. If he keeps bringing up his ex, I’m just straight up telling him stop right there. It’s disrespectful to me and weird for him. I’d say either leave the ghost in the past or I’m leaving. Seriously, why are you stuck listening to his drama? He needs to get his act together or find someone else to play therapist. No jokes.

Quote from Judy1966 on May 6, 2024, 12:39 pmMy husband works construction and comes home dead tired. i used to feel rejected but realized he just needs rest. we cuddle sometimes but don't push for sex. if i really want it, i initiate gentle touch without expectations. if he says no, i respect it and we watch tv. communication helps more than pressure. don't take it personally, man just needs to recharge.

Quote from Moonbeam1982 on January 3, 2024, 4:53 amomg that is so rude. i always just ignore them cause usually theyre just distracted by their own workout. last week some guy kept staring so i just put my headphones on louder and kept moving. dont let it get under your skin really. just focus on ur set and pretend he doesnt exist. hope your day gets better tho

Quote from honeybee1984 on May 3, 2024, 4:29 amfr fr nothing irritates me more. i just wear oversized hoodies and huge headphones to block out the world. if a guy gets too close i make direct eye contact until he looks away. most of them are too dumb to keep it up. also dont be afraid to call them out if they get creepy. safety first but dont let them ruin your workout vibe

Quote from Webwar on January 23, 2024, 8:35 amhola girl. i get it. after my daughter was born i felt the exact same way. like my body belongs to everyone else but me. i just tell him i’m not in the headspace. we cuddle or watch telenovelas instead. no pressure. your body is yours, dont force it. take all the time u need. we’ll get there when ur ready.

Quote from petalsleet on May 27, 2024, 5:20 pmGirl same. My doc said early perimenopause and i felt like dying. The hot flashes are wild and the brain fog is real. I just started taking vitamin d and magnesium plus trying to sleep more. It helps a little but its still rough. Yount alone tho. Just take it one day at a time.
