my knees hurt after gym help is this normal ??
Quote from Goldfinch on September 14, 2024, 7:39 amSame situation here man. My husband acts like the kids are not his. I am exhausted holding everything down while he just sits there. My mom and sisters literally had to step in to help with the little ones otherwise I would have collapsed. It drives me crazy that I have to do everything. Just venting cause I have no energy left for this nonsense. Need a break badly.

Quote from Brittany1993 on January 17, 2024, 5:29 amsame. i just ice it after work and take arnica tablets because my mom says pills are poison. also stretch before bed even though i hate it. honestly just resting lets the inflammation die down mostly. i wear compression sleeves too. its annoying but i try to avoid ibuprofen unless its absolutely necessary. my knees are wrecked from too much sitting all day. just baby them i guess.

Quote from Spindleanalogy on January 20, 2024, 8:23 amI don’t deal with that nonsense. For real, If my husband speaks to me with disrespect, I shut it down right then. I tell him I’m not accepting that tone and I’m walking away until he can speak properly. You aren’t too sensitive, you just have standards. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking his bad behavior is your problem. Walk away if he won’t change.

Quote from featherjob on June 14, 2025, 8:53 amomg same thing happens to me every time. honestly the only thing that works is putting on really thick knee pads before I start. my abuela used to tell me to just ignore the pain but that is bad advice jaja. now I stretch my quads for at least 10 mins before doing anything. if I skip that step my knees are screaming by noon. keep it simple folks.

Quote from Diane1979 on April 4, 2026, 4:07 amhonestly yeah its normal. my husband does this all the time. he just needs space to recharge without talking. i figured it out early so now i just let him be. go do my own thing while he sits in his cave. once he comes out he talks again. dont take it personal. its just how he processes stuff. works for us.

Quote from sweetmeadow1973 on April 4, 2026, 4:07 amArre, ye kya baat hai. My husband also sleeps with mouth hanging open, looks scary actually. I tried taping his mouth once with medical tape, he woke up confused next morning. Now I just give up after two years. It is annoying but not dealbreaker for us. Sahi hai, we make do. If you cant handle it, try nasal strips maybe?

Quote from jules1997 on April 4, 2026, 4:07 amI just started sleeping on the couch. Honestly it was easier than lying there staring at the ceiling feeling rejected. He sleeps better now too but we barely speak. I spend my time with my horses and friends. You gotta take care of yourself first. If he won't put in the work then stop waiting for him to change. It saves a lot of drama.

Quote from sandra1973 on April 24, 2025, 9:44 pmHonestly sounds like you are just burnt out. My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

Quote from Dawnshow on January 3, 2026, 4:26 amTotally feel this. I work in IT so I spend all day glued to screens anyway. Gym is just another isolating activity for me. I go to my local place near the office, grab a squat rack, listen to a podcast while lifting, then leave. No eye contact, no small talk. It’s efficient but yeah, super lonely. I usually just text my hype girl before and after. We don’t even workout together, just vent about heavy sets.

Quote from Glencontract on October 28, 2025, 10:48 amusually its just dehydration and low blood sugar hitting at once. i drink a big glass of water immediately after and eat something with carbs and protein within 30 mins. if i skip the postrun snack i feel terrible too. also make sure you actually cool down with a walk instead of just stopping dead. helps the cortisol drop
