Quote from Patty1979 on August 3, 2025, 7:44 amHonestly yeah. After kids and coding all day, my battery is dead before I even shower. I just want five mins without checking Slack. My partner gets it now, we stick to cuddling or quickies when energy allows. No pressure, no date nights planning stress. Just existing together. If ur forcing it, it gets worse. Take the pressure off.

Quote from stoneallegory on November 14, 2025, 12:04 pmnah its not weird at all. For real, i just broke up too and weirdly i miss cooking dinner and doing laundry more than seeing his face. being busy keeps me sane so now im just lost in the quiet. i spend my days running and lifting to get the stress out. it sucks but at least i have control over my routine now. its weird how much you take for granted until its gone.

Quote from Freemountain1972 on June 19, 2026, 1:38 pmnah not weird at all i work two jobs up here in the hills and by the time i get home i just want to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. For real, my husband gets it too we are basically roommates sometimes and thats fine. dont let anyone make you feel guilty for being tired. rest is important.

Quote from Dorothy1977 on May 10, 2026, 2:42 pmAt that age I just stopped playing along. For real, He said one thing but did another so I just watched his actions. If he wanted to play games I clocked out. No more chasing or questioning. I kept my circle small and focused on my own peace. Love doesn’t mean stress, it means safety.

Quote from CoveGold on January 7, 2026, 2:30 amugh same here. i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Quote from Daisy1965 on September 30, 2025, 8:50 pmHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from elmflute on March 12, 2026, 11:37 amSame here. By 1pm I am totally zhoos gaya. Earning sabzi vendor level patience. My thali is heavy daal chawal, makes me sleepy fast. Even coffee doesnt help after 1pm. Just crash on sofa for one ghanta. If I dont rest, whole shabaar mood ho jaata hai. Husband thinks I am lazy but actually body just shuts down. Survive till dinnar time only.

Quote from Hannah1978 on February 24, 2026, 12:55 pmHusband thinks I’m crazy for needing quiet too. I leave the house every Saturday morning. Go to the library or just sit in my car. He complains but I don’t care. If I don’t get that hour to myself I snap. My peace isn’t negotiable. You do you. Don’t let him guilt trip you into losing your mind.

Quote from Michelle1965 on January 2, 2025, 6:17 pmI stopped trying to manifest money long ago. Now I just grind. I budget tight, pick up extra shifts, and invest what I can. If I want a new car I save for it or work a second job. Manifesting felt like waiting for a check that never arrives. Real talk its about action not just vibes. I focus on what I can control today.
