Quote from melissa1989 on October 2, 2024, 7:16 amHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from Warm1964 on January 5, 2024, 5:55 pmGirl same. My doc said early perimenopause and i felt like dying. The hot flashes are wild and the brain fog is real. I just started taking vitamin d and magnesium plus trying to sleep more. It helps a little but its still rough. Yount alone tho. Just take it one day at a time.

Quote from Wildheart1968 on March 12, 2024, 3:32 amhaha same energy. my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Quote from VioletHill on August 20, 2024, 6:57 amYeah it’s awful. I’m 48 and just forgot my own nickname for the new dog. Three kids really fries you. I’ve started using a whiteboard by the door for important stuff just to keep my sanity. My ex used to joke about it but honestly it’s exhausting not knowing what day it is half the time. Just drink coffee and roll with it.

Quote from Hopebramble on October 15, 2024, 9:08 pmSame here. By 1pm I am totally zhoos gaya. Earning sabzi vendor level patience. My thali is heavy daal chawal, makes me sleepy fast. Even coffee doesnt help after 1pm. Just crash on sofa for one ghanta. If I dont rest, whole shabaar mood ho jaata hai. Husband thinks I am lazy but actually body just shuts down. Survive till dinnar time only.

Quote from Firecloth on November 4, 2024, 7:54 pmi just blocked him and deleted the app. honestly it felt like a relief. i spent three years trying to fix things that werent broken on my end and now im just focusing on myself. no more late night scrolling or wondering if he’s talking to someone else. peace of mind is worth more than any potential match.

Quote from moorrout on January 5, 2024, 5:58 amHoney I feel you. I just park way back in the lot and walk in slow. Nobody looks at nobody anyway. I wear my old sweat clothes so I dont care what happens. Its just noise and machines. You gotta get used to being uncomfortable at first. Just go do one thing then leave if you need to. Keep it simple.

Quote from brightstar1978 on January 5, 2024, 5:58 amhonestly same. I deadlift heavy then my whole day is over. My mom would kill me if she saw me nap right after eating but idk. I just crash on the couch while the kids play nearby. Maybe protein shake helps a bit but mostly its just body being wrecked. Go sleep girl. We talk later yeah.

Quote from Victoria1983 on November 7, 2024, 11:37 amdont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.
