Just saying hi
Quote from Ivybulwark on December 17, 2024, 11:40 pmSame. I just walk fast around my neighborhood after clase. No gym, no counting macros, no expensive supplements. Just me and my thoughts. Sometimes I lift heavy boxes at work and thats enough resistance for me. I drink water and try to sleep 7 hours. If I feel like moving, I dance to bad bops in my room. Its not pretty but it keeps me sane. Why overcomplicate it when simply staying alive already takes so much effort?

Quote from Nicole1994 on November 10, 2024, 8:54 pmHoney honestly at 54 i am just so done. Kids are grown and i got my garden to tend to so that clock just stopped for me. My husband thinks im cold but nah im just tired. We watch tv and hold hands most nights and that is perfectly fine. Dont let nobody make you feel bad about needing rest instead of racking the barn. Peace is good too.

Quote from Betty2000 on November 17, 2024, 7:33 pmyeah it’s definitely worse. Omg, i’m 29 and the dating apps feel like a part time job i hate. half the guys here in chicago are either looking for a hookup or still acting like they’re in college. the other half are married but won’t admit it. i’m tired of explaining that having a career and boundaries doesn’t mean i’m high maintenance. honestly i’d rather just stay in and order pad thai. the ratio of decent men to available women feels completely off right now and i’m over pretending otherwise.

Quote from Patricia1993 on May 25, 2024, 8:49 pmHonestly not weird at all. We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.

Quote from Calm1976 on May 30, 2025, 8:17 ammy husband used to say the same thing back in our twenties. i just stopped asking him what he wanted for dinner and started making whatever i felt like eating. he either eats it or he makes his own. honestly it’s been way less stressful since i stopped trying to recreate my mom’s exact recipes. my food is just mine now.

Quote from cheryl1971 on August 13, 2025, 5:48 amhonestly same. i just stop trying to initiate. if he wants sex we can do it but i am not providing the aftercare anymore. he has to learn to be affectionate on his own or not get lucky. i am too exhausted to play therapist. just let him sit with the awkward silence instead of fixing it for him. works for me.

Quote from Firecloth on March 28, 2026, 6:07 pmso i just stop engaging with the games entirely. if he wants to play hard to get, he gets radio silence until he acts like a normal human being. im not here to negotiate basic decency or decode mixed signals for fun. you deserve clarity not a puzzle. if he cant give you that straightforward affection, keep his distance. seriously.

Quote from violetflume on October 9, 2025, 3:29 pmI stopped trying to manifest shit like three posts ago. I swear, Now I just grind. We move every two years anyway so nothing stays static. I focus on survival, not vibes. Last month I wanted a promotion and got a DS TR instead lol. Manifestation feels like voodoo when you are grounded in reality. Just do the work and hope for the best.
