Just saying hi
Quote from fieldprairie on January 3, 2026, 4:26 amWell sugar, first you gotta find something to wear that ain't your church dress. I just started meeting folks for coffee at the local shop. Keep it short so you can bail if it gets awkward. Dont overthink it. If he cant hold a conversation about the weather or his dog, swipe left. I had a date last week who talked too much himself but hey, he paid for my latte so it wasnt a total loss.

Quote from Patty1984 on May 1, 2026, 9:12 amnah i think three years is pretty standard for the hickey phase to fade lol. i stopped checking bumble religiously after six months anyway. now its just another utility app i open when i have nothing better to do. the novelty wore off much faster for me but i still swipe when im bored. dont overthink it. itll get mundane

Quote from Maria1987 on September 5, 2025, 8:32 pmI literally sprint into the locker room and close my eyes for 60 sec. Heart rate spikes just thinking about people watching. My trick is noise cancelling headphones and ignoring everyone. Once i start moving the panic fades. Just zone out. dont look at mirrors. keep it simple. u got this but yeah the walk in is the hardest part.

Quote from StormraIN on July 28, 2025, 4:37 amHonestly not weird at all. We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.

Quote from Dellloom on September 27, 2025, 5:35 amhe’s prob just high on the smoke lol. i burn white sage daily to clear my space so i always carry that scent. it’s not pheromones men it’s respect for the medicine. if he can’t handle the realness of your practice then he’s not right for you. don’t let him make you feel weird about your traditions. keep smudging.

Quote from Siltredoubt on March 3, 2026, 6:36 pmfr same. i switched to just cerave cleanser and moisturizer only. stopped using all the fancy serums my tita kept telling me to buy. it took like a month to calm down but finally stopped burning my face. sometimes less is more honestly. also try changing your pillowcase every other day cause all that acne bacteria builds up.

Quote from RubyDusk on March 21, 2026, 5:27 pmsame here. i stretch every nite but my hamstrings are rock. it’s wild how fast the body changes. i just accept it now and focus on keeping my back loose so i dont hurt myself. 45 feels young but the joints say otherwise. at least mine still work lol.

Quote from rachel1968 on October 4, 2025, 7:05 pmhonestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. I swear, i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.

Quote from Softlakeside1973 on November 18, 2025, 10:01 pmnah just go. i always use busy work as an excuse to skip but regret it later. my family gathers every weekend so i try to squeeze in a quick session before them. keeps the stress down. even twenty minutes is better than nothing. dont overthink it. just put on your shoes and go. you will feel better after.
