is it normal to be this tired after 20 mins on treadmill
Quote from Stonefarewell on July 22, 2024, 6:10 amI walked away from the gym too. Water retention and cortisol are real messes. I started doing yoga in my living room instead. No mirrors, no scales, just moving. It took months to feel normal again. Your body is stressed, not broken. Give it peace, not punishment. Focus on how you sleep and eat. The weight will sort itself out when you stop fighting it.

Quote from Lisa1997 on April 10, 2024, 12:38 pmHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

Quote from kelly2003 on July 27, 2024, 10:22 amsame here. mine said perimenopause but i feel like i have arthritis. hot flashes are crazy bad at night. i just drink cold water and take vitamin d. no help but at least dont get so angry with my husband. try wearing layers so you can take off when you get hot. just survive each day honestly.

Quote from Sweetdawn1992 on August 21, 2024, 12:56 amsame. its like my brain just turns on at exactly 3. i lay there staring at the ceiling wondering why i sent that text 3 years ago. tried reading, tried meditation, nothing works. now i just accept it and listen to true crime podcasts until i pass out again. honestly tired of being tired but cant turn the thoughts off. ugh.

Quote from ivysaga on February 19, 2024, 4:42 ami finally stopped forcing myself to go. Lol, honestly, i just read on my couch now. saves me thirty bucks a month and i dont have to pretend to enjoy cardio. my hips are bigger but my eyesight is worse from staring at screens anyway. whatever. peace of mind costs less than a gym membership these days.

Quote from Theresa1977 on May 27, 2024, 5:20 pmhonestly i just ignore the suck. ive been lifting alone for two years now since the divorce. some days i barely survive the set but i show up anyway. my knees hurt and i feel like a grandma but seeing the weight go up keeps me sane. its not about being strong its about doing it when you dont want to. thats the only win that matters right now.

Quote from Trueditch on November 26, 2024, 5:18 amYeah totally. I used to say yes to everything and ended up burnt out before the season even started. Now I just ghost people who ask favors if theyre not close friends. Saves me so much mental energy. If they get mad they werent worth the hassle anyway. Focus is everything when you have real goals. No guilt allowed.
