is it just me or is dating in your 30s actually worse
Quote from cliffcove on November 10, 2024, 8:54 pmOye girl, that sounds exhausting tbh. Ngl, If he keeps bringing up his ex, I’m just straight up telling him stop right there. It’s disrespectful to me and weird for him. I’d say either leave the ghost in the past or I’m leaving. Seriously, why are you stuck listening to his drama? He needs to get his act together or find someone else to play therapist. No jokes.

Quote from Wiseowl1969 on May 27, 2024, 5:20 pmhonestly i stopped trying to force myself to the gym. it just wasn working for me. now i just do 20 mins of yoga on my living room rug when i have time. some days i skip it and thats ok. no guilt. just moving my body because it feels good, not because some schedule says i should. keep it simple and dont beat yourself up over missing a day.

Quote from kathryn1978 on May 17, 2024, 10:06 amI stopped trying to manifest shit like three posts ago. Now I just grind. We move every two years anyway so nothing stays static. I focus on survival, not vibes. Last month I wanted a promotion and got a DS TR instead lol. Manifestation feels like voodoo when you are grounded in reality. Just do the work and hope for the best.

Quote from FreeraIN on July 27, 2024, 3:42 pmYeah it ain’t just you. I swear, My knees sound like crunchy cereal every morning. I started wearing compression sleeves and cutting back on high impact stuff. Yoga helps too but omg the stairs are painful. Just keep moving so they don’t lock up completely. Drink plenty of water and stretch. We’ll be spry forever or at least pretend to be.

Quote from Sweetspectacle on March 27, 2024, 6:37 amHusband thinks I’m crazy for needing quiet too. I leave the house every Saturday morning. Go to the library or just sit in my car. He complains but I don’t care. If I don’t get that hour to myself I snap. My peace isn’t negotiable. You do you. Don’t let him guilt trip you into losing your mind.

Quote from Kind1967 on January 5, 2025, 3:48 pmyup same. i do high impact stuff so my knees are basically shot. after sunday service i literally have to ice them for an hour straight. it sucks but hey, pain is temporary right. just keep moving and take some ibuprofen if you have to. dont let it stop you from hitting the gym tomorrow. we got this.

Quote from Andrea1980 on January 4, 2025, 10:17 pmBabe take the nap. Omg, Seriously. My husband wants round two daily and I’m over it. I just tell him I’m dead to the world. We compromise on weekends. Rest is sacred at my age. If he’s mad he can sleep on the couch. Your energy is limited so spend it on yourself. Don’t feel guilty.

Quote from Frostloch on January 2, 2026, 1:43 amhonestly i just bring the dumbbells and mat to the hotel room. moving around every two years means i never feel like lugging a gym bag across town. im homebody now. if i had it my way id do a quick 15 min session in the living room while the kids nap. saves me from dealing with crowded locker rooms and strangers trying to use my equipment. simple is best for me these days.
