is it just me or is dating in your 30s actually worse
Quote from Willowiron on June 20, 2026, 3:30 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Heather1994 on January 13, 2026, 8:21 amhonestly i stopped asking him to help. i just do what needs doing while he hangs out. if he complains about the mess i tell him to fix it himself or shut up. at this point his energy is not worth the fight. i save my mental peace for myself and my kids. let him live in the chaos he ignores. peace is more important than being right.

Quote from LeafWave on June 14, 2025, 11:06 pmLook I stopped trying to be spiritual all the time. I swear, It felt like work. Now I just drink water and walk outside. If I need to reset I sit quietly for five mins. No chanting no crystals. Just breathing. My peace comes from boundaries not rituals. Keep it simple. Rest when tired. Ignore the pressure to be enlightened. You dont owe anyone your energy.

Quote from Jacqueline1985 on March 3, 2025, 8:58 amSame here basically. Just moved for my husbands deployment this month. Doc says labs are perfect but i am dragging all day. I ended up checking my iron and vits too. Low iron was part of it. Also just standard military life burnout. Try adding straight iron supplements if you havent. Helps a bit at least until we settle in new base housing. Good luck

Quote from virginia1979 on February 27, 2025, 11:11 ammine stays elevated for like 20 mins after heavy leg days. usually just chug water and walk around the house til it drops. if its still high after an hour i check my electrolytes. been doing this for years so i know my body pretty well. dont overthink it unless something feels off otherwise its just burnout or not enough carbs.

Quote from Rilldam on June 16, 2026, 8:21 pmim not really finding god atm just trying to survive the heat and my kids driving me crazy. honestly praying feels like work lately. i just make my coffee sit in silence for ten minutes. thats it. sometimes that quiet time is enough for me right now. dont overthink it. just breathe.

Quote from Nobleshore on November 3, 2025, 8:57 pmHonestly I feel u. I drink un café cortado first thing then hit the gym at 6am even if I hate it. My hermana says its dehydration so I force myself to drink 3 liters of water. Not gonna lie sometimes I just nap 20 mins after lunch. Life is busy and we cant just push through without resting or eating bien. Try swapping soda for agua jamas.

Quote from Sugarplum1976 on December 20, 2025, 7:31 amHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

Quote from mountainmom1998 on March 14, 2026, 4:13 amthree years is forever honestly. i’ve been off apps for two years now. my tribe taught me patience is good but not sitting around waiting for magic. i go to classes and meet people through friends. if he can’t commit in that time he’s just using the app for ego. stop waiting. keep living your life.

I am tired after work. We keep it simple abhi. No drama, no extra stress. Just normal life. He agreed finally because I was firm. Don’t compromise your peace for his whim.
