Quote from dorothy1987 on December 17, 2024, 11:40 pmI do the same thing lol. Hot water is sacred healing after dealing with kids and work all day. If he needs that reset time to just be quiet and clean, let him have it. I usually go in after him so the bathroom stays warm. Just enjoy your own peace while he’s in there. It’s not about control, it’s about survival.

Quote from SeaSun on May 20, 2024, 9:05 amHoney same here. I use one of those weekly pill boxes now. My daughter helped me set it up on Sunday night so I dont have to think about it during the week. If i miss a day i just dont take it and move on. Getting older is exhausting enough without worrying about little plastic bottles. Just keep it simple.

Quote from patty1977 on March 10, 2024, 1:32 pmHonestly yeah. Im a serial snorer and post, divorce life is exhausting. Last time it happened my date laughed and covered me with the duvet. We ordered pizza instead. At this point honest is better than faking it. If they cant handle you being tired maybe they arent the one. Just roll with it.

Quote from Dancequeen1996 on July 10, 2024, 7:57 amSame thing happens here. We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

Quote from Joan1968 on February 15, 2024, 10:09 amI don’t deal with that nonsense. If my husband speaks to me with disrespect, I shut it down right then. I tell him I’m not accepting that tone and I’m walking away until he can speak properly. You aren’t too sensitive, you just have standards. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking his bad behavior is your problem. Walk away if he won’t change.

Quote from Wise1992 on November 15, 2024, 8:49 amugh leave her alone. I take so much stuff my daughter thinks I’m one pill away from exploding. Vitamin d, b complex, magnesium, the works. If it makes me feel better then I’m taking it. She rolls her eyes but now she’s putting gummies in my bag. let her think I’m crazy as long as I’m healthy. mi vida es mi fiesta.

Quote from Elm on January 21, 2026, 4:19 pmhonestly same. i just stop trying to initiate. if he wants sex we can do it but i am not providing the aftercare anymore. he has to learn to be affectionate on his own or not get lucky. i am too exhausted to play therapist. just let him sit with the awkward silence instead of fixing it for him. works for me.

Quote from Sunny1998 on January 24, 2026, 10:38 pmoh man yeah it’s super normal but also super annoying. Ngl, i usually just use ice packs on my quads and drink like a gallon of water. took me a while to figure out i just needed better shoes bc my arches are trash. now i stretch before bed or i cant sleep at all. honestly just give it a day or two to rest unless it feels like an actual injury.

Quote from Mapleproportion on March 28, 2025, 12:24 amNot weird at all. I miss making his coffee and folding his shirts way more than I miss the actual relationship. The drama was exhausting. The routine was peaceful. I still wake up reaching for the iron sometimes. It’s just quieter now. I’m learning to be okay with my own company instead of filling the space with someone else’s nonsense. It takes time but the calm is worth it.

Quote from Calm2002 on March 28, 2025, 12:24 amHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.
