we moved 3 times last year. For real, my husband thinks moving boxes is mans work but folding shirts is mine. i let the living room pile up. he complained once then carried the trash to curb himself. dont cook fancy food on day 1. order pizza. if house isnt perfect but kids are fed and beds are made thats win in my book. survival mode is real for immigrant moms.

i used to pay for one of those apps but stopped after a year. honestly the ads were more stressful than the calm sounds. now i just sit in my garden or listen to birds from the porch. doesnt cost a dime and feels just as peaceful. maybe we just need quiet time without the fancy tech telling us how to breathe.

dont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.

I just stopped fighting it. Ngl, Bought the basic cerave cleanser and nothing else. Used to buy fancy stuff hoping it would fix everything. Now I just wash, moisturize, and let it be. My skin actually cleared up when I stopped stressing over it. Sometimes doing less is the only move left when you are exhausted.

Honestly I think it’s both. My knees hurt all the time but my spirit feels heavy too. I just sit on the porch with my coffee and let God handle the worry. Y’all need to rest more. Not everything needs fixing today. Just breathe and take it one hour at a time. I’m trying to stop doing so much for everybody else.

i literally nod off in my car for ten mins before going home. just sit there and breathe. its the only quiet i get. dont try to be a hero after those meetings. they drain u. so just chill. drink some water. maybe soak your feet if u can. keep it simple. no fancy routines needed. just rest.

usually its just dehydration and low blood sugar hitting at once. Ngl, i drink a big glass of water immediately after and eat something with carbs and protein within 30 mins. if i skip the postrun snack i feel terrible too. also make sure you actually cool down with a walk instead of just stopping dead. helps the cortisol drop

Look I got that same knee trouble. I just take ibuprofen when I actually need it to move around. Not everyday though. My doctor said its safe in moderation. Also try putting ice on it after work. I keep a bag in the freezer ready to go. Works better than sitting there in pain trying to be tough.

I quit last year. Joined in Jan, went 3 times. Gifted my card to my mom who also doesn't go. Now I just walk the dog aggressively around the block. My calves aren't toned but my bank account is thicker. If you're paying monthly just to sweat guilt, stop. The money feels better than leg day ever did.

it is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?
