Ugh, just got home from Target. Kids needed new shoes, of course. Paid like 50 bucks for two pairs at Payless, ridiculous. Then the grocery run, only to realize I forgot milk. So back out again after dinner, the grocery store was packed. It’s already 8:30 and I still have laundry to fold and lunches to pack for tomorrow. I just feel so drained, like I don’t have a second to myself. Does it ever get easier, or am I just doing something wrong?

@Rosepromise Oh my gosh, Target AND Payless? My wallet would be weeping. I swear I spent half my paycheck on school supplies last week. Did you at least find good deals?

Seriously, @Rosepromise, I get it. I just did a grocery run and forgot eggs. AGAIN. It's like my brain just shuts off when I'm juggling all the errands.

Ugh, Payless shoes are still a thing? My kid would probably want the sparkly ones, so I can imagine the sticker shock. Did you manage to get out without buying anything else you didn't need?

@Rosepromise, I totally feel you. My grocery list is basically a suggestion at this point. I always forget at least one thing, usually bread or something essential. Back out again is the worst.

@Rosepromise Ugh, Payless! My daughter would be begging for those light-up ones. Did you at least find a decent sale price on the shoes?

@Rosepromise Oh my gosh, forgetting milk is the worst! I did that last week and had to run back to the corner store for just that. So annoying.

@Rosepromise School supplies last week, grocery run today. My bank account is definitely feeling it. Hope you found some good deals on those shoes though!

@Rosepromise Totally get the brain shut-off thing. I just went to the store and forgot the one thing I actually went for, coffee filters. Ugh.
