Quote from Rootmotion on April 8, 2025, 12:38 pmI stopped swiping after two years because my thumb hurt more than my heart. Just dumped the apps last month. Started going to the feed store and talking to guys who buy grain. Met a nice fella last week, slow and steady. You dont need the dopamine hit. Real life is slower but better. Go touch grass instead.

Quote from Goldlabor on March 5, 2026, 1:55 pmI just go to the shed and sit for ten minutes. Doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, I need that silence. My husband stops by to yell at me about chores sometimes but I just ignore him till he leaves. Tells him if he wants peace, he needs to mind his own business. We’re in a small house so boundaries are tough but I don’t let him make me feel crazy for needing a break.

Quote from Tailtunnel on October 18, 2025, 6:54 pmhonestly same. For real, lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

Quote from Poolwave on February 11, 2026, 6:39 amhonestly same here after workdays. im usually exhausted and just want to crash. we started taking turns getting our needs met or just cuddling without pressure. sometimes he goes to the gym late or reads so i can sleep straight through. communication is key tho. tell him exactly when ur up for it. dont feel guilty about wanting rest.

Quote from Doris1971 on October 6, 2025, 1:22 amim done with the whole find god thing honestly. its exhausting trying to fit into someone else's version of spirituality. i just go to the river, sit in silence, and let the water do the talking. no rituals, no forcing it. sometimes the earth is enough. rest is its own form of prayer for me right now.

Quote from Andrea1984 on August 16, 2026, 4:25 amYeah it is. My brain feels like scrambled eggs most days. Ill forget why i walked into a room or leave keys in weird places. Im a runner so i try to clear my head with hard workouts but honestly its just chaos. You do what you can and accept the mess. Dont stress over the little stuff none of it matters anyway. Just keep going.

Quote from Bloomparity on May 2, 2026, 10:13 pmlol same. i literally had to drag myself outta bed bc my phone was nagging me. felt like violence tbh. ended up just walking around the block once and calling it done. some days the body just says no and i respect that. guilt is real but so is exhaustion. im definitely restin instead of forcing it today. hope ur ok tho.

Quote from sweetdawn1982 on February 9, 2026, 10:07 pmugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. Omg, i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.

Quote from Kathleen1994 on June 22, 2025, 2:58 pmyeah honestly same here. i used to feel like my heart was gonna explode after just walking up stairs, let alone running. now i do 5ks weekly but still pant like a crazy person. i just stop, drink water, and wait it out. its not pretty but you get used to the feeling. dont push too hard at first. maybe try walking intervals if running feels too much.
