why is my energy completely gone by 2pm??
Quote from Ridgetank on May 31, 2024, 8:08 ami feel u. honestly just skip the complicated stuff. i wash face with cetaphil, slap on the ordinary niacinamide serum, put on cerave pm night cream, and throw on sunscreen in the morning. that s it. no fancy tools, no ten step korean routine. sometimes less is literally more. stop stressing and just keep it simple. your skin will thank you for not picking at it.

Quote from Oceanwaves1976 on June 14, 2024, 4:42 pmhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. I swear, now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.

Quote from jacqueline1973 on April 26, 2024, 9:36 pmomg same thing happens to me every time. honestly the only thing that works is putting on really thick knee pads before I start. my abuela used to tell me to just ignore the pain but that is bad advice jaja. now I stretch my quads for at least 10 mins before doing anything. if I skip that step my knees are screaming by noon. keep it simple folks.

Quote from Starlightsoul on February 4, 2024, 6:25 pmsame here honestly. its just so noisy and chaotic now that i barely have the mental bandwidth to think about it. i have to schedule intimacy like a business meeting which feels incredibly unsexy. my husband gets it tho, we just cuddle more now. not every phase feels romantic but thats totally normal i think.

Quote from RedRose on February 22, 2024, 12:20 amHonestly I feel u. I drink un café cortado first thing then hit the gym at 6am even if I hate it. My hermana says its dehydration so I force myself to drink 3 liters of water. Not gonna lie sometimes I just nap 20 mins after lunch. Life is busy and we cant just push through without resting or eating bien. Try swapping soda for agua jamas.

Quote from Clothworks on December 17, 2024, 8:40 pmHonestly I just stopped caring about the scale. At 48 divorce was hard enough, didnt need to add body shaming to the plate. I gym to keep my joints happy and clear my head. If I skip a week, so be it. I walk my dog daily and lift light weights twice a week. Consistency over intensity for me now. Just doing what feels manageable keeps me from burning out.

Quote from SweetIvy on March 12, 2024, 4:54 pmHonestly sounds like you are just burnt out. My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

Quote from Fiona1970 on May 30, 2024, 11:15 pmhonestly i just bring the dumbbells and mat to the hotel room. Tbh, moving around every two years means i never feel like lugging a gym bag across town. im homebody now. if i had it my way id do a quick 15 min session in the living room while the kids nap. saves me from dealing with crowded locker rooms and strangers trying to use my equipment. simple is best for me these days.

Quote from Sweet1960 on May 30, 2024, 11:15 pmmine stays elevated for like 20 mins after heavy leg days. usually just chug water and walk around the house til it drops. if its still high after an hour i check my electrolytes. been doing this for years so i know my body pretty well. dont overthink it unless something feels off otherwise its just burnout or not enough carbs.
