why is my energy completely gone by 2pm??
Quote from countryroad1977 on December 14, 2019, 6:25 pmI just do not understand what is happening here. I eat a normal breakfast and drink my coffee. But by two pm I am done. Like truly finished. Today I sat on the floor at Target because my legs felt like jelly. I was holding my son who is four and he started crying because I was moving too slow. I did not eat lunch because I was too busy dealing with work emails. I drank water but it did not help. I took a multivitamin this morning. I sleep about six hours a night because he wakes up once. I feel heavy and slow. My manager asked if I was okay at one forty five and I just nodded. I cannot get through the rest of the day. Is this just being forty or is something wrong with me. Does anyone else crash this hard before dinner time.

Quote from Capepearl on July 9, 2020, 4:07 pmi tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.

Quote from dawnfeather on October 18, 2020, 11:26 amOye girl, that sounds exhausting tbh. If he keeps bringing up his ex, I’m just straight up telling him stop right there. It’s disrespectful to me and weird for him. I’d say either leave the ghost in the past or I’m leaving. Seriously, why are you stuck listening to his drama? He needs to get his act together or find someone else to play therapist. No jokes.

Quote from Melissa1981 on June 17, 2020, 5:40 amhonestly for me its the post workout crash after eating. i used to skip snacks right after gym and then nap for 3 hours. now i force myself to eat protein within 30 mins of finishing. also make sure ur drinking water not just during but after too. dehydration hits different when u sweat that much. try eating something small immediately and see if it helps u feel less wiped out the next day.

Quote from sweettempo on February 21, 2020, 2:44 pmI just stop trying to meet some fitness gods standard. If I got home and only had energy to stretch for ten minutes, that counts. I dont have the mental bandwidth to cook a post workout meal or shower twice. Some days I just drink water and hope for tomorrow. My body isnt a temple its just a vehicle and it needs rest after managing two kids all day.

Quote from homemaker1994 on December 10, 2020, 6:56 amSame thing happens here. We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

Quote from Cloudcave on September 25, 2020, 3:03 amHonestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. Omg, saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Quote from Gloria1983 on July 23, 2020, 5:34 pmhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. I swear, now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.

Quote from Meadowmoss on January 6, 2020, 8:57 amomg girl same. I literally throw his clothes in the wash the second he takes them off. If they stay in the hamper for more than a few hours, forget it. The smell is unreal. I even wash his workout gear separately with extra detergent because regular stuff doesnt cut it. My bf thinks Im crazy but hey, nobody wants to date a human stench bag. Just keep that washer running, mija.
