Quote from Janet1976 on May 3, 2021, 6:59 pmi feel u. honestly just skip the complicated stuff. i wash face with cetaphil, slap on the ordinary niacinamide serum, put on cerave pm night cream, and throw on sunscreen in the morning. that s it. no fancy tools, no ten step korean routine. sometimes less is literally more. stop stressing and just keep it simple. your skin will thank you for not picking at it.

Quote from Diana1993 on March 1, 2021, 9:04 amusually its just dehydration and low blood sugar hitting at once. i drink a big glass of water immediately after and eat something with carbs and protein within 30 mins. if i skip the postrun snack i feel terrible too. also make sure you actually cool down with a walk instead of just stopping dead. helps the cortisol drop

Quote from Janet1995 on November 28, 2021, 12:49 pmHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

Quote from Crystal1970 on January 8, 2021, 9:19 pmgirl same. i just take those little plastic containers from the pharmacy and throw them in my purse. dont overthink it. some days i leave three pills on the kitchen counter for later. if you forget one dose whatevs. life goes on. my doc told me it more important i keep taking them regularly than track every single one perfectly. less stress is better for you honestly.

Quote from Bayfoundry on August 20, 2021, 11:54 amAura is just a fancy word for burnout. I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.

Quote from fordbrake on October 31, 2021, 12:49 amyeah it is definitely just you lol. my body goes crazy after heavy lifts. i usually have a handful of sunflower seeds and a banana right when i finish. keeps me from feeling like i might pass out but doesnt make me too full. sometimes if its really bad i sip on bone broth while i cool down. helps with the cravings without wrecking my appetite for dinner later.

Quote from Charlotte1994 on December 25, 2021, 3:44 amnah i would just tell her straight up. tell her its not our culture or tradition here. we don't do that kind of stuff in the house. its confusing for my kids too. just say no politely but firmly. dont let her push it. keep the space yours. if she keeps it up ask her to do it at her place or temple. boundary setting is key fam.

Quote from Sarah2001 on July 28, 2021, 4:40 pmUgh that sounds so frustrating. My guy did the same thing, calling me crazy for wanting to talk while he was just scrolling on his phone. I stopped trying to fix it. I just told him I need him to be present or I’m gonna take my energy elsewhere. If he stays distant, mirror that. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking you’re too much when he’s putting in zero effort. Keep it real with yourself.

Quote from Snowhorn on October 13, 2021, 1:51 pmi just accept the mess. when i feel like im crumbling i sit on my porch with cold coffee and watch the wind. no fixing, no journaling, just sitting. sometimes i cry till im bored. then i get up and make breakfast. the shedding happens whether i force it or not. just breathe through the ugliest part and let your body do what it needs to do. its messy but its real.
