Oye girl, that sounds exhausting tbh. Lol, If he keeps bringing up his ex, I’m just straight up telling him stop right there. It’s disrespectful to me and weird for him. I’d say either leave the ghost in the past or I’m leaving. Seriously, why are you stuck listening to his drama? He needs to get his act together or find someone else to play therapist. No jokes.

man i feel this so hard. my partner is the same way. its exhausting. i literally start withdrawing if its just about finishing. i tell him straight up that if he wants cuddling just ask for it separately. its not my job to assume hes cuddly after. i need connection not just release. its so tiring to have to manage his emotions around intimacy too.

I stopped having a home gym. Bought one of those cheap folding bikes and keep it in the garage. My grandkids think it is a race car. At least the floor stays clear. After forty years of letting them run wild I just gave up on pristine spaces. Now i chase them outside with water balloons when they get too rowdy. Works every time.

Honey I just keep pushin on. I stop drinkin coffee after noon cause it wrecks my sleep. Then I just rest my feet up and listen to the Word while I knit. Ain t nothing you can do about it but breathe through it. My grandma said this is just the price of admission for survivin this long. So I just take it day by day y all.

Honestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

yeah it totally kills momentum. Tbh, i finally got into a groove with my last partner before we moved cross country for work. now im just exhausted from unpacking and dealing with basic logistics. dont even have the energy for foreplay let alone anything else. its just so hard to build intimacy when you feel like youre constantly starting over somewhere new.

honestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.

yeah mostly. i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Sachi kaho, I had a guy like that too. Lol, He said sweet things but never showed up. I waited once, twice, then just left. Actions are truth, words are just air. If he wanted to be with you, he would make space, not excuses. Don t waste your time waiting for him to change. Pack your bags mentally and see what you want for yourself. Trust your gut, sister.

Girl same thing happens to me. I just start with five minutes on the treadmill. If it feels too heavy I stop. No guilt allowed. My prayer group helps too, we just talk about stress sometimes. Don’t try to do all at once. Just show up honey. Y’all got this. Lord willing we keep going one day at a time.
