why is everything so expensive at the gas station grocery
Quote from firesummit on September 12, 2023, 1:07 amOh honey same here lol. Lol, I tried my first yoga retreat last year and spent half the class waddling around. I just sit on a folded towel now and let it all go. No fancy props needed. My knees click like a geiger counter but at least I get some quiet time to drink tea. Keep going dear.

Quote from goldensunset2001 on March 16, 2023, 10:12 pmmine stays elevated for like 20 mins after heavy leg days. usually just chug water and walk around the house til it drops. if its still high after an hour i check my electrolytes. been doing this for years so i know my body pretty well. dont overthink it unless something feels off otherwise its just burnout or not enough carbs.

Quote from Betty1972 on July 16, 2023, 11:51 amOh honey that sounds awful. I quit the treadmill years ago. My knees just couldn’t take it anymore. Now I walk around the park near my house. Much nicer. Fresh air and sunshine. Try lowering the incline or speed. Or just stop. No point hurting yourself. Drink some water too. Feel better.

Quote from peatdefeat on September 8, 2023, 4:09 amHonestly same. I gave up on all the fancy plans. Just walk after dinner with my husband and do squats while watching TV in Arabic. No gym, no protein shakes, no counting calories. My back hurts less and that is enough. We immigrants have enough stress without worrying about core strength tips. Keep it simple or go crazy.

Quote from Duskpass on September 29, 2023, 6:53 pmgod yes. i did pilates last thursday and basically crawled out of bed this morning. like my hamstrings are literally screaming at me. i just soak in epsom salts and try not to move too much. it feels like someone poured cement in my legs. hate that feeling so much.

Quote from leaflake on February 24, 2023, 4:05 amHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from carolyn on July 25, 2024, 6:10 amyeah it is definitely just you lol. my body goes crazy after heavy lifts. i usually have a handful of sunflower seeds and a banana right when i finish. keeps me from feeling like i might pass out but doesnt make me too full. sometimes if its really bad i sip on bone broth while i cool down. helps with the cravings without wrecking my appetite for dinner later.

Quote from pawprairie on September 15, 2024, 9:01 amLook I got that same knee trouble. Ngl, I just take ibuprofen when I actually need it to move around. Not everyday though. My doctor said its safe in moderation. Also try putting ice on it after work. I keep a bag in the freezer ready to go. Works better than sitting there in pain trying to be tough.

Quote from budbrake on November 25, 2024, 2:19 amyeah it happens. Lol, i used to get awful knee pain after leg day too. usually means you pushed too hard too fast. i started doing more warm up squats before lifting and stretching right after. also make sure your form is right. if it keeps hurting take a break. dont ignore it. my knees are fine now as long as i listen to them. hope u feel better soon.
