why is everything so expensive at the gas station grocery
Quote from Poolspectacle on July 24, 2019, 4:42 pmI was at the 7, Eleven on Main last night around eight. Just needed milk and eggs for the kids because I forgot them earlier. The milk was four fifty cents. Four hundred fifty for a single gallon. I stood there staring at it while my youngest cried in the cart. I bought a bag of generic chips too just to stop him from screaming. That was three dollars. I feel like I am being robbed every time I pull into a convenience store. It used to be cheaper. I do not know where to shop now without spending ten dollars on gas to get to the big Walmart. My grocery budget is gone before I even get home. I need to eat. Why is basic food costing so much at these small places now?

Quote from softharbor on February 7, 2019, 7:27 pmlol yeah my man is the same. he gets hard like five seconds after we start making out its honestly kinda funny. i just laugh and tell him to chill but also its kinda cute that hes into me that much. we just roll with it and get on with it. no big deal really, just how his body works. sometimes i tease him about being so quick to react but nah its all good.

Quote from fairdew on May 24, 2020, 1:46 amfr that’s wild. my man used to give me the silent treatment too after we argued. i stopped asking and just started focusing on myself. went to the gym, called my girls. sometimes u gotta show u dont need em to survive. if he keeps ignoring u like that, honestly evaluate the relationship. u deserve better than being treated like furniture.

Quote from pollengrass on July 14, 2020, 10:29 pmmy husband is the same way. we just sit watch tv and hold hands. he says its enough to feel close. i tried talking more but he gets shut down. so now i just lean into it. sometimes silence is better than fake words. dont force convo if hes not there. just sit with him. it works for us even if it feels weird at first. trust the quiet.

Quote from skyrace on December 30, 2020, 2:39 amHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

Quote from Moonpresentation on August 30, 2020, 4:17 amHonestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Quote from TealtIN on April 27, 2020, 10:36 pmlol seriously. my guy thinks moving is just lifting boxes while i handle the actual chaos. we agree that for the first two weeks everything goes in trash bags labeled by room. no cleaning until everything is in its right house. if he wants it perfect, he helps me pack. otherwise he deals with the mess.

Quote from Rachel1980 on February 10, 2021, 11:29 pmArre, ye kya baat hai. Honestly, My husband also sleeps with mouth hanging open, looks scary actually. I tried taping his mouth once with medical tape, he woke up confused next morning. Now I just give up after two years. It is annoying but not dealbreaker for us. Sahi hai, we make do. If you cant handle it, try nasal strips maybe?
