why does working out make me feel worse than before ??
Quote from Sunny1962 on March 31, 2025, 2:41 amnah im just doing squats at the office gym before meetings. glute activation seems like extra work for small gains. i dont really feel it anyway. just stick to basic compound lifts and eat enough protein. the trend is just people selling bands and courses. i rather focus on my back pain from coding all day. simpler is better for me tbh.

Quote from Rainthorn on June 14, 2025, 8:53 amomg i relate so hard. my ex did the same thig constantly. i would just make a mental note of every time he said one thing but did another. eventually the pattern became impossible to ignore. if his actions dont match his words then trust the actions. u deserve someone who just shows up consistently without u having to ask or play detective. its exhausting n u rnt alone.

Quote from Joyce1971 on February 25, 2025, 9:08 amugh yes. i got divorced last year and started running to process stuff. after my first 5k i literally sat on the curb gasping like i was having a heart attack. thought i was gonna drop dead. took me weeks to build up stamina im not gonna lie. just drink water and give it time.

Quote from Rocksilver on March 16, 2026, 4:23 amyeah mostly. i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Quote from blushgold on August 11, 2026, 2:57 pmi get this too. even when i sleep eight or nine hours, my jaw just drops. it’s annoying. i usually just push through it because it’s socially awkward to keep yawning. sometimes i drink an extra cup of coffee to feel awake but honestly it’s just a weird habit for me now. i don’t think i do anything specific to fix it. just ignore it.

Quote from SilverLake on July 5, 2026, 10:09 amhonestly I tell him straight up that I dont need those details. if he keeps bringing her name up I just stop listening and change the topic. you dont get paid to hear about his past drama so dont let him dump it on you. keep it light and make him focus on us. if he cant let go maybe he should be talking to his shrink not you. simple as that.

Quote from peachy1970 on September 7, 2025, 6:11 pmdont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.

Quote from PawbasIN on January 7, 2026, 2:30 amHoney, mine is dead too. My husband snores like a chainsaw so we just sleep. Honestly, I find more joy being alone with a glass of wine or reading a book. It's just life at this stage. Don't beat yourself up about it. We're grandmas now, not models. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

Quote from Jessica1986 on June 14, 2026, 11:59 pmYeah totally. I used to say yes to everything and ended up burnt out before the season even started. Now I just ghost people who ask favors if theyre not close friends. Saves me so much mental energy. If they get mad they werent worth the hassle anyway. Focus is everything when you have real goals. No guilt allowed.
