why does working out make me feel worse than before ??
Quote from Bright2004 on July 28, 2024, 5:38 pmYeah it’s awful. I swear, I’m 48 and just forgot my own nickname for the new dog. Three kids really fries you. I’ve started using a whiteboard by the door for important stuff just to keep my sanity. My ex used to joke about it but honestly it’s exhausting not knowing what day it is half the time. Just drink coffee and roll with it.

Quote from Lauren1995 on April 22, 2024, 11:08 amhonestly just changed his routine completely. told him if he wants to keep seeing me he needs to shower right after the gym not wait till he gets home. also switch to a stronger deodorant and change underwear twice a day if sweating. i dont care how tired he is nobody wants to smell that. simple fix really.

Quote from DreambargaIN on March 22, 2024, 2:05 amI stop buying water and snacks there. For real, Margins are insane. I pack my own lunches and bring a reusable bottle. Gas stations are convenience stores first, not grocery stores. You pay for the impulse buy and the 24/7 access. If you really need something quick just grab the basics but dont expect to save money. I left my empty chip bag in the car last time trying to avoid the checkout line temptation.

Quote from Toothstream on October 22, 2024, 1:58 ami just switched to a basic pharmacy brand cleanser and one moisturizer. Tbh, spend the rest of my budget on sunscreen. honestly my skin looks better when i stop overthinking it. the fancy serums were just making me break out from all the actives. keep it simple till it clears up. less is literally more. nobody needs eleven steps.

Quote from Hazecontract on October 28, 2024, 7:32 pmLord have mercy girl. I been trying to quit caffeine since 1998 and its a losing battle. I just cut the amount. Start with half a cup of coffee instead of a big mug. Then switch to decaf. Takes forever but hey at least you sleep better. My husband says I dont need it but i disagree lol. Just take it slow yall.

Quote from linenmotion on December 27, 2024, 7:21 pmHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from Kind2000 on August 12, 2024, 5:14 pmi tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.

Quote from HappyWind on November 18, 2024, 4:49 amHonest truth is most of us are faking it. I used to think sleep fixed everything until I got my iron and vitamin D levels checked. Turns out I was just running on empty. Eight hours of sleep doesnt help if your body is fighting a deficiency. Go see a doctor and ask for blood work before buying another fancy pillow.
