Quote from Featherjourney on January 21, 2021, 8:56 amhon i set clear boundaries day one. Lol, told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

Quote from Michelle1968 on October 5, 2021, 12:42 pmyeah honey same here. i used to hate the gym so much. now i just walk around my neighborhood for 30 mins while listening to audiobooks or music. makes time fly and doesnt feel like a chore at all. sometimes i just sit on the porch and soak up the sun. keeps the joints loose without the agony of lifting weights. hope you find something that clicks for you too.

Quote from Leafwarranty on January 16, 2021, 2:40 amhaha same energy. Ngl, my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Quote from Glowtunnel on April 8, 2021, 6:08 amHonestly I think it’s both. My knees hurt all the time but my spirit feels heavy too. I just sit on the porch with my coffee and let God handle the worry. Y’all need to rest more. Not everything needs fixing today. Just breathe and take it one hour at a time. I’m trying to stop doing so much for everybody else.

Quote from towerravine on June 2, 2021, 9:02 amHonestly same here. I swear, I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from boldriver1972 on March 24, 2022, 9:07 amhonestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.
