Trust issues after betrayal
Quote from Abigail1994 on May 1, 2024, 2:18 pmomg seriously?? five minutes is barely enough time to settle in. my bf does this too and lowkey it’s kinda stressful. i just tell him i’m not ready yet and need to actually relax first. feels like a race sometimes. if he keeps pushing i’d honestly be confused bc like come on. give us a second to breathe ykno

Quote from StarBear on February 19, 2024, 6:15 amHonestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. I swear, saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Quote from wildrose1971 on March 15, 2024, 9:30 ami dont believe in auras but i know what burnout feels like. if you cant function through your day its exhaustion not a spiritual crisis. i took a mental health day this week just to sleep and eat real food. no screens. you need rest not a cleanse. drop whatever isnt urgent and go lie down. your body is screaming at you to stop. listen to it.

Quote from virginia1993 on July 6, 2024, 2:58 amfr that sounds exhausting. i had a phase like that too but refused to sit in the discomfort. started leaving notes on the counter just stating what i needed that night straight up. took the pressure off having a convo but still communicated my needs. if he still wont talk then u gotta decide if u wanna stay lonely or find intimacy elsewhere. my husband had to step up quick or i was out.

Quote from Lucky1979 on June 17, 2024, 8:42 pmhonestly i think it’s just stress from moving every two years. my cortisol is probably through the roof. i tried cutting carbs like everyone says but it just made me crazy. now i just eat yogurt and fruit after PT bc its easier when you’re tired. also never skip breakfast. my body would literally shut down if i waited too long to eat. weird right but it works for me

Quote from Songcottage on May 31, 2024, 12:46 amI get it. At 47, i assumed sleep was free but it really ain’t. I cut coffee after 10am and started taking magnesium before bed. Also checking my iron levels. Sometimes it’s just bad habits. Try going to bed 30 mins earlier and no phone in bed. Just straight sleep.

Quote from Blushrout on May 31, 2024, 12:46 amhonestly its just me and definitely not just you. Tbh, im mixed race and living in chicago with zero patience for dating games so my sex life is basically non existent right now. im too anxious to even text men back consistently let alone plan dates. just scrolling tiktok and overthinking every interaction instead of actually doing anything. my libido is low bc my brain is in fight or flight mode all the time.

Quote from glenquarry on April 5, 2024, 1:12 pmi just stopped answering his texts about needing space. honestly it feels exhausting to keep picking up the pieces every time he checks out. im focusing on my lesson planning and hanging out with my girls instead. if he wants space he can have it but im not holding my breath. it isnt my job to manage his emotions or wait around.

Quote from ruth1993 on September 5, 2024, 6:09 ambro same. im always wiped after the gym. i finally started bringing a banana and eating it right after. also just realized i drink like 50oz of water before going. if i dont drink enough beforehand im dehydrated and crashing hard afterward. feels like junk after a run even if its light. just started napping for 20 mins immediately after changing out. helps a lot. dont overthink it too much honestly.
