Toddler tantrums
Quote from marilyn1966 on July 8, 2025, 7:41 pmhey there. i get it. honestly i just let it happen. stopped trying to hold onto the old version of myself. days are long out here in the woods so i just put on boots and walk it off. doesnt fix everything but helps me sleep. dont overthink it. just breathe and keep moving. youll figure it out like everyone else does. tough but true.

Quote from Poolcastle on May 26, 2025, 5:57 amhonestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

Quote from islebud on February 11, 2026, 3:23 amI had to stop signing up for team sports where everyone relies on me to show up. Honestly, Now I just go run by myself before work. If people dont wanna meet me outside, they can wait in the car or stay home. My workout is my workout. I dont have time or energy to babysit grown adults through their fitness journeys. It is exhausting and pointless. I focus on my pace and my goals only. Boundaries helped more than any new routine ever did.

Quote from WildfountaIN on March 27, 2025, 4:39 pmI just stopped fighting it. Bought the basic cerave cleanser and nothing else. Used to buy fancy stuff hoping it would fix everything. Now I just wash, moisturize, and let it be. My skin actually cleared up when I stopped stressing over it. Sometimes doing less is the only move left when you are exhausted.

Quote from grace1979 on May 3, 2026, 11:34 amYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.

Quote from Sandra1983 on August 21, 2025, 10:38 pmfr that sounds exhausting. i had a phase like that too but refused to sit in the discomfort. started leaving notes on the counter just stating what i needed that night straight up. took the pressure off having a convo but still communicated my needs. if he still wont talk then u gotta decide if u wanna stay lonely or find intimacy elsewhere. my husband had to step up quick or i was out.

Quote from Jacqueline1975 on April 15, 2026, 4:40 pmim so there. kept an old fashioned hot water bottle by my bed all night. just put it on while i was still warm. by the time i needed it for the kid, it was ready. saves having to run back to the bathroom. also got a stash of fever reducers in the kids room. you dont want to hunt in the dark. drink some tea. take turns if he has a sitter.

Quote from Hailepic on November 14, 2025, 12:04 pmI feel this. Last year I hit a wall too. I’m a teacher so I spend all day pouring into others and come home with nothing left. I realized it wasnt laziness, it was just burnout. Now I force myself to rest without guilt. Honestly just taking a nap or doing absolutely nothing for an hour changed everything. Youre not lazy, youre just drained. Be kind to yourself.
