Quote from Dreamer on September 5, 2024, 10:13 amTotally feel this. I work in IT so I spend all day glued to screens anyway. Gym is just another isolating activity for me. I go to my local place near the office, grab a squat rack, listen to a podcast while lifting, then leave. No eye contact, no small talk. It’s efficient but yeah, super lonely. I usually just text my hype girl before and after. We don’t even workout together, just vent about heavy sets.

Quote from Amanda1971 on March 19, 2024, 8:59 pmthree years is forever honestly. i’ve been off apps for two years now. my tribe taught me patience is good but not sitting around waiting for magic. i go to classes and meet people through friends. if he can’t commit in that time he’s just using the app for ego. stop waiting. keep living your life.

Quote from bravesun on July 20, 2024, 7:30 pmit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from jenny1988 on July 12, 2024, 5:54 pmi feel u. honestly just skip the complicated stuff. i wash face with cetaphil, slap on the ordinary niacinamide serum, put on cerave pm night cream, and throw on sunscreen in the morning. that s it. no fancy tools, no ten step korean routine. sometimes less is literally more. stop stressing and just keep it simple. your skin will thank you for not picking at it.

Quote from Ruth1966 on November 4, 2024, 7:54 pmusually its just dehydration and low blood sugar hitting at once. i drink a big glass of water immediately after and eat something with carbs and protein within 30 mins. if i skip the postrun snack i feel terrible too. also make sure you actually cool down with a walk instead of just stopping dead. helps the cortisol drop

Quote from alice1984 on January 2, 2024, 9:24 amim done with the whole find god thing honestly. its exhausting trying to fit into someone else's version of spirituality. i just go to the river, sit in silence, and let the water do the talking. no rituals, no forcing it. sometimes the earth is enough. rest is its own form of prayer for me right now.

Quote from Scarletspindle on January 5, 2024, 5:58 amHonestly same. I gave up on all the fancy plans. Just walk after dinner with my husband and do squats while watching TV in Arabic. No gym, no protein shakes, no counting calories. My back hurts less and that is enough. We immigrants have enough stress without worrying about core strength tips. Keep it simple or go crazy.

Quote from Jean1976 on April 6, 2024, 10:23 pmaaj kal ye sab common hai. me bhi shuru me pareshan hoti thi. par ab main apna time leti hoon. gym, friends, ya bas phone pe baithna. usko pehle se bata doon agar busy hu. ab wo samajhta hai ki mere bina nahi chalega. pressure nahi lena chahiye bhabhi. apna peace maintain karo.

Quote from Citylights on March 7, 2024, 4:43 pmnah that sounds like he just wants to talk down to u. in my culture we respect elders but partners should talk equal. if he calls u sensitive for asking him to change his tone, he’s dodging accountability. i’d just leave the room when he starts like that. dont let him gaslight u into thinking ur valid feelings are wrong. ur not crazy for wanting basic respect from a partner.
