Quote from sandy1993 on August 7, 2024, 5:34 pmhonestly same. Omg, i just stop trying to initiate. if he wants sex we can do it but i am not providing the aftercare anymore. he has to learn to be affectionate on his own or not get lucky. i am too exhausted to play therapist. just let him sit with the awkward silence instead of fixing it for him. works for me.

Quote from Budspore on April 11, 2024, 3:55 amhonestly same here. i’m twenty eight and honestly just so done with the performance aspect of it all. some nights i’d rather just cuddle or sleep. it’s not that i don’t love my partner but the pressure to be excited is exhausting. i feel like i’m constantly thinking about what’s next instead of just being in the moment. is everyone else this checked out or am i just crazy

Quote from Softrampart on June 1, 2024, 9:19 amOh honey it is real. I got diagnosed at 52 and my husband thought I was just getting old. Lord knows I ain't. I take my meds, stretch in the morning, and rest when my body screams. It’s a drag but you’re not crazy. Keep going sister.

Quote from Spiritstepping on March 15, 2024, 9:30 amArey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. I swear, Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

Quote from creekrose on September 6, 2024, 8:25 pmYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.

Quote from Siltprocession on February 13, 2024, 8:01 pmhonestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

Quote from BrittaNY on April 29, 2024, 4:50 amnah not weird at all i work two jobs up here in the hills and by the time i get home i just want to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. my husband gets it too we are basically roommates sometimes and thats fine. dont let anyone make you feel guilty for being tired. rest is important.

Quote from Birchspirit on July 19, 2024, 1:00 amyeah mostly. I swear, i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Quote from sarah2002 on December 22, 2024, 1:46 pmyeah it is normal. i did the same trail last weekend and my quads were screaming for two days after. just walk around lightly to keep things moving. ice helps if it gets really sore. dont let it stop you, next time youll be stronger. i drank like three electrolyte drinks right after and slept the whole night. pain is part of the process lol.

Quote from Bloomcount on September 8, 2024, 7:20 amsame here. the humidity is brutal rn. i literally just put ice packs on my wrists and neck for like ten min before bed. also run the shower really cold until the pipes get freezing then turn it off and climb in. it actually helps me stay asleep longer since my body temp drops. good luck staying awake lol. going to try the fan trick again tonight.
