Quote from Sunrout on January 19, 2024, 4:55 amyeah it happens. i used to get awful knee pain after leg day too. usually means you pushed too hard too fast. i started doing more warm up squats before lifting and stretching right after. also make sure your form is right. if it keeps hurting take a break. dont ignore it. my knees are fine now as long as i listen to them. hope u feel better soon.

Quote from Oaktrough on August 13, 2025, 5:48 amGirl same. My doc said early perimenopause and i felt like dying. The hot flashes are wild and the brain fog is real. I just started taking vitamin d and magnesium plus trying to sleep more. It helps a little but its still rough. Yount alone tho. Just take it one day at a time.

Quote from ashepic on August 13, 2025, 5:48 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Teatime1997 on January 18, 2026, 11:00 amHoney, mine is dead too. My husband snores like a chainsaw so we just sleep. Honestly, I find more joy being alone with a glass of wine or reading a book. It's just life at this stage. Don't beat yourself up about it. We're grandmas now, not models. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

Quote from Dreamer1983 on January 18, 2026, 11:00 amsame here honestly. i’m dead tired after work and all he wants is sex then pass out. i refuse tho. i make him hold me for at least 10 mins before or after or nothing happens. he complains but eventually gets it. if you don’t set the boundary he’ll keep taking what he wants. protect ur peace first.

Quote from Gatewell on January 5, 2026, 6:57 amMira, same here. The gym is a scam for me. I hate the smell, the mirrors, whatever. I just walk. Like, I put on my shoes and walk for 30 minutes while listening to podcasts. No sweating, no judgment. My neighbors think I’m crazy but at least I’m moving, si? Consistency? Please. I do what I can when I can. Some days it’s trash, others I walk more. It’s not perfect but it works for me.

Quote from thymestar on July 30, 2025, 2:33 pmAura is just a fancy word for burnout. I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.

Quote from Winetime1990 on August 25, 2026, 6:48 amI literally just slide the dishes into the dishwasher over his shoulder while he’s still in the shower. For real, He knows if he leaves them for more than ten minutes they disappear, so he cleans them as he goes now. I tried talking about it for a year and nothing changed until I just handled it myself and stopped asking since then it’s been smooth sailing. Hope that helps keep some sanity.
