i spent two hours at the elementary school today and honestly i just want to crawl into bed. the teachers were nice but they asked so many questions about his reading level. i feel like im failing already. drank three glasses of wine as soon as i got home. now watching tv and ignoring my work emails. same for you basically i think.

oh man that sounds awful. Omg, i get terrible plantar fasciitis every winter. honestly just rolling a frozen water bottle under my arch for like 10 mins in the morning helps so much. also wear compression socks all day long. i used to ignore it till i couldn't walk straight too. just keep resting your feet when you can. hope you feel better soon

Honey, mine is dead too. My husband snores like a chainsaw so we just sleep. Honestly, I find more joy being alone with a glass of wine or reading a book. It's just life at this stage. Don't beat yourself up about it. We're grandmas now, not models. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

my husband smells like old socks and gym bags even after a quick rinse. i just put on earplugs and read until he falls asleep. it is genuinely the worst part of the day. we have talked about it but he says he is too tired. honestly i just avoid touching him until morning.

honestly same. ive stopped trying to meditate every morning and guilt myself for missing days. now i just do what feels doable. sometimes its five minutes of breathing, other times its napping. im done performing spirituality. i teach second grade so i deal with chaos all day, im not adding mental load. just be kind to yourself.

bhai yaar, bilkul normal hai. i am also 42 and honestly, some days i just want to sleep. body gets tired, stress from kahani and work. don't force it. my husband understands too. sometimes cuddling is enough. just take rest. no need tension leta. everyone goes through this phase.

honestly just changed his routine completely. told him if he wants to keep seeing me he needs to shower right after the gym not wait till he gets home. also switch to a stronger deodorant and change underwear twice a day if sweating. i dont care how tired he is nobody wants to smell that. simple fix really.

That sounds like a lot of work. I keep my husband happy on weekends so I can sleep in during the week. We also have kids so weekends are basically for family time anyway. If he wants that much energy maybe he can focus on his own hobbies. Honestly I just want to rest too. My body gets tired from work and looking after the house.

I stop buying water and snacks there. Margins are insane. I pack my own lunches and bring a reusable bottle. Gas stations are convenience stores first, not grocery stores. You pay for the impulse buy and the 24/7 access. If you really need something quick just grab the basics but dont expect to save money. I left my empty chip bag in the car last time trying to avoid the checkout line temptation.

i tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.
