Honestly I just stopped apologizing. My husband thinks I’m mad sometimes but I’m not. Just tired. Or bored. It’s okay. We cuddle instead. Or watch TV. I don’t force it. If I want to, it happens. If not, we sleep. My body isn’t a public service. Try that. It works for us. At least the guilt is gone for me.

Honestly that’s just rude. For real, My husband says the same sometimes bc my mom was a different era. I just tell him to stop comparing. I cook what tastes good to me now. Sometimes it’s simpler. If he doesn’t like it he can make it himself. Seriously don’t let it get to you.

Girl same. My doc said early perimenopause and i felt like dying. The hot flashes are wild and the brain fog is real. I just started taking vitamin d and magnesium plus trying to sleep more. It helps a little but its still rough. Yount alone tho. Just take it one day at a time.

omg same here like seriously my feet are killing me after standing all day en el mercado. I just buy those gel insoles from la farmacia and they literally save my life. Also soaking feet en agua tibia con sal epsom helps a lot para el dolor. You gotta rest your feet honestly no matter what. Nosotras siempre caminando mucho but it hurts too much sometimes. Hope you feel better pronto because we need our feet working for everything.

honestly same here. i’m on week 4 and my brain is foggy from doing nothing. i spend all day watching kdramas and coding on my laptop while propping my leg up. the boredom is killing me more than the actual pain tbh. just keep grinding through the series marathons until u can walk properly. it sucks but it passes eventually. stay strong sis.

same here. mine said perimenopause but i feel like i have arthritis. hot flashes are crazy bad at night. i just drink cold water and take vitamin d. no help but at least dont get so angry with my husband. try wearing layers so you can take off when you get hot. just survive each day honestly.

I just keep a jump rope in my suitcase always. For real, Once we land and unpack slightly, I do 10 mins a day in the living room. No gym membership drama. If we move again before three months, at least I stayed active. My back hates it but better than getting stiff on the plane or couch. Simple routine beats fancy equipment any day.

i just stopped answering his texts about needing space. honestly it feels exhausting to keep picking up the pieces every time he checks out. im focusing on my lesson planning and hanging out with my girls instead. if he wants space he can have it but im not holding my breath. it isnt my job to manage his emotions or wait around.

it is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

honestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.
