Quote from kelly1976 on October 20, 2024, 3:41 amomg same thing happens to me every time. honestly the only thing that works is putting on really thick knee pads before I start. my abuela used to tell me to just ignore the pain but that is bad advice jaja. now I stretch my quads for at least 10 mins before doing anything. if I skip that step my knees are screaming by noon. keep it simple folks.

Quote from Hazemovement on September 25, 2024, 2:13 amHonest truth is most of us are faking it. I used to think sleep fixed everything until I got my iron and vitamin D levels checked. Turns out I was just running on empty. Eight hours of sleep doesnt help if your body is fighting a deficiency. Go see a doctor and ask for blood work before buying another fancy pillow.

Quote from Fitlife1999 on October 22, 2024, 1:58 amugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. For real, i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.

Quote from dewsleet on January 7, 2024, 8:36 pmI just watch him play those stupid games while I check my phone. Love means I tolerate his nonsense now lol. Its boring but whatever. Im an immigrant so I have better things to do than scream at him. Maybe he thinks it helps him focus? Idk. I just ignore it and make my coffee. If he really loved me he would turn it off but men are men.

Quote from windwall on July 8, 2024, 1:38 pmi just ignore it. i put my headphones in and blast music so loud i cant hear anything anyway. if someone is staring, theyre probably just checking form or being rude. doesnt matter. i go there to lift heavy things and leave. i dont care who sees me. just keep lifting and focus on your own workout. dont let strangers ruin your vibe.

Quote from Bold1987 on February 22, 2024, 12:20 amhonestly I just ignore it. I lift heavy and focus on my form so whatever he thinks of my accent doesnt matter. He’s probably intimidated since I’m deadlifting more than him. If he says something directly rude I’ll tell him to keep it to himself but usually they just shut up when they see you’re not messing around.

Quote from kimberly1984 on September 7, 2024, 3:38 pmHoney i think you just got too much on your feet all at once. My back kills me after even ten minutes on the sidewalk now. I stretch like crazy when i get home and then just lie down with a heating pad on my lower back. Make sure your dog isn pulling you off balance too. Rest up.

Quote from Ironstrait on November 13, 2024, 11:28 ami tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.

Quote from FreeDusk on March 22, 2024, 9:31 pmSame here. Since getting older my knees are complaining loudly. I stopped doing strict fasts or keeping long padavrat because it puts too much pressure on joints. Now I just do light yoga and take calcium supplements regularly. My daadi used to say joint pain is common but I didnt take it seriously until mine started hurting. Its not romantic suffering. Just eating well and resting is enough for me now.

Quote from joan1992 on January 27, 2024, 8:42 pmi drink a cup of nettle tea before bed and keep my room pitch black. Lol, also stop scrolling right before sleep, the blue light messes with your rest. i noticed once i stopped eating heavy meals late at night, i wake up way more refreshed. try drinking a big glass of water first thing in the morning too, dehydration hides as fatigue sometimes.
