Quote from Wise1976 on October 7, 2024, 2:24 amHonestly he sounds typical desi husband type. After work he just sits on sofa with phone. I tell him behave like normal human being. Sometimes we just sit together drinking chai saying nothing and it is okay. But if silence means he ignores you completely that is red flag. Talk to him clearly about what you need. Don't guess his feelings.

Quote from Crimsontavern on July 18, 2024, 10:40 pmThat sounds like a lot of work. I keep my husband happy on weekends so I can sleep in during the week. We also have kids so weekends are basically for family time anyway. If he wants that much energy maybe he can focus on his own hobbies. Honestly I just want to rest too. My body gets tired from work and looking after the house.

Quote from Plantmama1975 on September 5, 2024, 3:37 amyeah that sounds off. i run 3 miles outside daily and i’m fine after. maybe your pace is too high or the incline is tweaked weird. check your form too, shrugging shoulders drains you fast. i just keep it steady, breathe deep, and listen to my body. if it burns out quick, dial it down. dont push through that kind of fatigue.

Quote from Lisa1986 on February 7, 2024, 9:28 amhonestly same vibe. my man keeps pushing stuff i just do not have energy for anymore. i told him straight up that i am tapped out. sometimes you just gotta say no to the new thing and protect your peace. i spent last weekend just sitting by the river refreshing myself. if you do not want it, do not do it. boundaries save marriages. he needs to accept where you are at right now.

Quote from gentlebreeze1981 on March 3, 2024, 10:24 amyeah totally. Ngl, i stop at 15 mins bc i feel like death after that. used to run easy then figured out my heart is just different now post, divorce and stress. don't push it too hard. if you’re exhausted that fast maybe your form is off or you’re going too fast for your current level. i just walk fast now and it’s enough.

Quote from Coolstream on February 29, 2024, 1:52 pmI moved my shower time to early morning. By the time he’s done his long ritual I’ve already finished mine and started getting ready for the day. It stopped the waiting game completely. I just had to accept that’s how he takes care of himself and adjust my schedule around it. Works for now since we both get what we need without the passive aggression over the bathroom.

Quote from Tinkeep on September 6, 2024, 8:25 pmsame here. i hate how hot and stuffy my living room gets when i run. now i just walk outside by the school track. its quiet early in the morning and the fresh air helps. if i do run inside i turn the fan on max and eat a banana right after. dont try to push through nausea. just stop and drink water.

Quote from Hailtoken on July 20, 2024, 7:30 pmhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. For real, now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.
