so tired of waking up at 3am every night help
Quote from RiverSong on May 27, 2024, 5:20 pmi been there. started getting really tired and holding water when i hit forty. went to the doc and got blood work done. turns out it was just perimenopause hitting hard. took a bit of adjusting but knowing it wasnt permanent helped. also cut down on salt cause that bloating was awful. hope you feel better soon.

Quote from luckymoon on August 14, 2024, 10:44 amI dont even try anymore. After watching my grandkids all day im drained. I used to feel guilty but now i just stretch in the living room while watching TV. Its enough movement for me honestly. If they are napping i might do some light yoga but thats it. Total surrender to the couch is the best plan.

Quote from Jenny1975 on July 10, 2024, 7:57 amAura is just a fancy word for burnout. I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.

Quote from Stillspark on August 16, 2024, 3:30 pmim a teacher too so i totally get this. its not just you. i keep a big water bottle on my desk and force myself to drink from it all day. dehydration hits hard in the afternoon. i also try to eat a small snack with protein around 2pm like a handful of almonds or string cheese. it helps keep my energy from crashing so hard at the end of the day.

Quote from Sweety1985 on August 16, 2024, 3:30 pmnah its actually pretty normal but yeah it can be awkward if ur rushing lol i just tell him to chill and let me take the lead. if hes too sensitive i make him wait or switch it up. dont let him rush u tho. communication is key like u gotta tell him to back off if its uncomfortable. dont feel bad about it tho.

Quote from Goldenheart1970 on May 17, 2026, 8:07 pmomg yes i literally felt like i was dying after leg day. I swear, couldn’t even walk down the stairs without crying. just drank a ton of water and ate chicken and rice yesterday. the soreness is brutal but honestly it’s better than feeling weak. my quads feel like jelly right now. just resting today and doing gentle stretching. hope you feel better soon. seriously don’t know how some people bounce back so fast.

Quote from sugarplum1980 on January 24, 2026, 10:38 pmhonestly yeah its normal. my husband does this all the time. he just needs space to recharge without talking. i figured it out early so now i just let him be. go do my own thing while he sits in his cave. once he comes out he talks again. dont take it personal. its just how he processes stuff. works for us.

Quote from SagehaIL on August 11, 2026, 2:57 pmMy husband works construction so he crashes hard around 2pm. Tbh, I used to think something was wrong with me too. Then I started napping. Just twenty minutes on the couch while the kids play. Wake up grumpy at first but then the rest of evening is fine. Drinking five cups of coffee doesn't fix it. Try shutting your eyes.

Quote from michelle2002 on May 22, 2026, 3:35 amsame here and its exhausting. i usually just do foam rolling and strength training 2x a week to balance the pounding. also way more protein post run or i crash hard. hydration matters too bc im always dehydrated. just listen to your body and take rest days. dont push through the pain. im in my 30s so recovery takes longer now than in college. hope you feel better soon.

Quote from dogmom1981 on April 30, 2025, 9:04 amthree years is forever honestly. Lol, i’ve been off apps for two years now. my tribe taught me patience is good but not sitting around waiting for magic. i go to classes and meet people through friends. if he can’t commit in that time he’s just using the app for ego. stop waiting. keep living your life.
