Same here. I skip the meditation apps. Just take ibuprofen, put on compression socks, and lie flat for 20 mins. Hot shower helps too. Dont try to fix it instantly. Just rest properly. My lower back is killing me from coding all week so I know the pain. Keep pushin through but dont ignore the ache. Eat something salty too.

Honestly I just sit on the bench with my coffee and watch. Tbh, They can climb the whole structure without me. I tried running around too when they were little but my knees gave out. Now I just yell if they get stuck. My back hurts enough from carrying groceries. Let them be independent already. I need to rest, not play.

I had to stop signing up for team sports where everyone relies on me to show up. Now I just go run by myself before work. If people dont wanna meet me outside, they can wait in the car or stay home. My workout is my workout. I dont have time or energy to babysit grown adults through their fitness journeys. It is exhausting and pointless. I focus on my pace and my goals only. Boundaries helped more than any new routine ever did.

Honestly just tell him to stop. Lol, Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.

same. i just ice it after work and take arnica tablets because my mom says pills are poison. also stretch before bed even though i hate it. honestly just resting lets the inflammation die down mostly. i wear compression sleeves too. its annoying but i try to avoid ibuprofen unless its absolutely necessary. my knees are wrecked from too much sitting all day. just baby them i guess.

i literally nod off in my car for ten mins before going home. just sit there and breathe. its the only quiet i get. dont try to be a hero after those meetings. they drain u. so just chill. drink some water. maybe soak your feet if u can. keep it simple. no fancy routines needed. just rest.

sister no u not lazy. i hit that wall hard last year. felt like carrying the world but had zero energy left. i stopped trying to do it all and just did the bare minimum for a while. let dishes pile up, ordered takeout, went to bed early. ur body is screaming for rest not more punishment. take the day off. truly.

yeah honey same here. i used to hate the gym so much. now i just walk around my neighborhood for 30 mins while listening to audiobooks or music. makes time fly and doesnt feel like a chore at all. sometimes i just sit on the porch and soak up the sun. keeps the joints loose without the agony of lifting weights. hope you find something that clicks for you too.

My husband works construction so he crashes hard around 2pm. I used to think something was wrong with me too. Then I started napping. Just twenty minutes on the couch while the kids play. Wake up grumpy at first but then the rest of evening is fine. Drinking five cups of coffee doesn't fix it. Try shutting your eyes.

Don’t push too hard. My knees also hurt after squatting. I use warm towels for 10 mins before bed. Also ice pack if swelling. Drink lots of water. Sometimes just resting is better than stretching immediately. Be careful beta, body needs time to recover. Don’t ignore pain.
