Quote from kathryn1973 on February 21, 2024, 2:27 pmHonestly just tell him to stop. Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.

Quote from Maria1978 on June 5, 2024, 12:05 amGlad you posted that. I sat on my porch for an hour after my last scare just drinking ice water and shaking. Youre not alone in the loss of control. Its messy and ugly. Cry it out. I keep my tissues in every room now. Just breathe through it one minute at a time. We will survive this but it hurts like hell right now.

Quote from Woodpresentation on November 25, 2024, 2:19 amHonestly same. Honestly, That humidity gets to me every single night. I stopped trying to fight it and just bought those gel cooling pads for the mattress. Works a little better than flipping sheets. Also keep a damp washcloth by the bed and rotate it in the freezer. Not glamorous but it helps me get maybe six hours. Good luck out there.

Quote from Silverlinings1965 on September 4, 2024, 4:57 pmOye girl, that sounds exhausting tbh. If he keeps bringing up his ex, I’m just straight up telling him stop right there. It’s disrespectful to me and weird for him. I’d say either leave the ghost in the past or I’m leaving. Seriously, why are you stuck listening to his drama? He needs to get his act together or find someone else to play therapist. No jokes.

Quote from Heathtempo on October 14, 2024, 11:58 amyeah my tribe does smudging before class now. Omg, i just do 15 mins of sun salutations in my living room while listening to rain sounds. saves the drive and the frustration. honestly its just easier to move on your own time without dealing with cancellation emails. hope you find a rhythm that works for u too.

Quote from SunnyFire on October 26, 2024, 9:13 amnah it is totally possible i just turn 38 last week and my energy levels are actually higher than they were in my twenties. Ngl, i stopped eating processed sugar and started lifting heavy weights 4 days a week. also sleep matters so much more now. if u are sleeping 6 hours and drinking lattes all day yeah ur gonna feel dead. change the routine and the energy comes back simple as that

Quote from Leafdeal on December 10, 2024, 6:17 amUgh that sounds so frustrating. My guy did the same thing, calling me crazy for wanting to talk while he was just scrolling on his phone. I stopped trying to fix it. I just told him I need him to be present or I’m gonna take my energy elsewhere. If he stays distant, mirror that. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking you’re too much when he’s putting in zero effort. Keep it real with yourself.

Quote from Harptoken on June 1, 2024, 9:19 amYeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.

Quote from bloomfight on March 17, 2024, 10:42 amSame here. By 1pm I am totally zhoos gaya. Earning sabzi vendor level patience. My thali is heavy daal chawal, makes me sleepy fast. Even coffee doesnt help after 1pm. Just crash on sofa for one ghanta. If I dont rest, whole shabaar mood ho jaata hai. Husband thinks I am lazy but actually body just shuts down. Survive till dinnar time only.

Quote from Reefspindle on March 3, 2024, 10:24 amHonestly I think it’s both. My knees hurt all the time but my spirit feels heavy too. I just sit on the porch with my coffee and let God handle the worry. Y’all need to rest more. Not everything needs fixing today. Just breathe and take it one hour at a time. I’m trying to stop doing so much for everybody else.
