Quote from Rimespectacle on July 9, 2023, 4:02 ami just ignore it. i put my headphones in and blast music so loud i cant hear anything anyway. if someone is staring, theyre probably just checking form or being rude. doesnt matter. i go there to lift heavy things and leave. i dont care who sees me. just keep lifting and focus on your own workout. dont let strangers ruin your vibe.

Quote from Maria1969 on October 25, 2023, 6:36 pmSame here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

Quote from Softpetal1981 on October 6, 2023, 7:17 amI just go to the shed and sit for ten minutes. Doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, I need that silence. My husband stops by to yell at me about chores sometimes but I just ignore him till he leaves. Tells him if he wants peace, he needs to mind his own business. We’re in a small house so boundaries are tough but I don’t let him make me feel crazy for needing a break.

Quote from Shellcove on April 17, 2023, 4:40 pmHonestly yes. I immigrated here ten years ago and still hate treadmills. My wife makes me do 30 mins but I look forward to it like going to dentist. After 20 mins my legs are jelly. Maybe try walking on incline first. Or just walk outside in neighborhood. Less boring anyway. We are all tired from life already dont push too hard.

Quote from bayconquest on September 26, 2023, 10:47 amhonestly just sleep and cheap wine. i stopped trying to be productive for like a month. lay on the couch, read trashy novels, ignore emails. ur brain is fried from the conflict so it needs rest not solutions. if i feel guilty for doing nothing i remind myself that surviving is enough right now. buy groceries that require zero prep.

Quote from Braveredoubt on February 17, 2023, 5:39 pmMy husband works construction so he crashes hard around 2pm. I used to think something was wrong with me too. Then I started napping. Just twenty minutes on the couch while the kids play. Wake up grumpy at first but then the rest of evening is fine. Drinking five cups of coffee doesn't fix it. Try shutting your eyes.

Quote from Brightcol on February 3, 2023, 3:21 amHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from claytreaty on August 5, 2023, 5:13 amArre listen, coding means sitting like statue. That is why gas stuck. I also face same problem when I work on laptop for hours. First thing, drink hot water with lemon every morning. And eat more salad, no plain rice only. Walk for 10 mins every 2 hours. My husband also suffer from this. He started doing yoga stretch in evening. It helps very much. Try it.

Quote from Leafbog on October 8, 2023, 10:49 pmit is definitely worse. i stopped swiping last month because every guy under 40 wants a baby mama who cooks kabsa and cleans his house. i just want someone who pays half the rent and doesnt talk about crypto. honestly its better hanging out with my uncles at the weekend mall than dealing with these weird men. tired of explaining basic respect.
