Quote from meadowpearl on April 24, 2026, 5:11 pmHonestly I just stopped caring about the scale. At 48 divorce was hard enough, didnt need to add body shaming to the plate. I gym to keep my joints happy and clear my head. If I skip a week, so be it. I walk my dog daily and lift light weights twice a week. Consistency over intensity for me now. Just doing what feels manageable keeps me from burning out.

Quote from sunny1995 on October 6, 2025, 1:22 amomg yeah. week 3 is the worst. i keep staring at the ceiling wondering why my life is on pause. i finally started watching that new detective show so i have something to look forward to besides the clock. also realized ive gained like 5 lbs. just try to survive the boredom. my cousin had the same knee op last year and said week 4 gets slightly better. hang in there.

Quote from Wise1996 on March 12, 2026, 11:37 amugh leave her alone. For real, I take so much stuff my daughter thinks I’m one pill away from exploding. Vitamin d, b complex, magnesium, the works. If it makes me feel better then I’m taking it. She rolls her eyes but now she’s putting gummies in my bag. let her think I’m crazy as long as I’m healthy. mi vida es mi fiesta.

Quote from jessica1999 on November 18, 2025, 10:01 pmomg girl same. Omg, I literally throw his clothes in the wash the second he takes them off. If they stay in the hamper for more than a few hours, forget it. The smell is unreal. I even wash his workout gear separately with extra detergent because regular stuff doesnt cut it. My bf thinks Im crazy but hey, nobody wants to date a human stench bag. Just keep that washer running, mija.

Quote from cliffcloud on April 20, 2026, 7:05 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Rebecca2002 on July 6, 2026, 1:10 ami feel that. moving every few years makes it hard to stick with a routine or find good spots. ive been lifting heavy and just focusing on strength instead of the scale number. the scale goes up bc muscle weighs more but i look leaner and feel stronger. honestly ignoring the number is the only thing that helps me not hate the gym. just keep showing up.

Quote from Ironstub on August 23, 2026, 4:25 amYeah it ain’t just you. My knees sound like crunchy cereal every morning. I started wearing compression sleeves and cutting back on high impact stuff. Yoga helps too but omg the stairs are painful. Just keep moving so they don’t lock up completely. Drink plenty of water and stretch. We’ll be spry forever or at least pretend to be.

Quote from Fluteblockhouse on March 3, 2025, 8:58 amHonestly i just stopped apologizing for it. My auntie sat me down and said my body is mine not his obligation. Now i just say no clearly without over explaining. If they get mad that’s on them. Also make sure you’re not just burnt out from kitchen duty all week. Rest is valid. Keep your boundaries firm sis.
