my husband wants to have sex every night and i just want to sleep
Quote from SilversoIL on June 22, 2026, 10:06 amYeah it is exhausting. I just walk after school letting the kids use the playground while i move. No fancy gear or quick fixes. I dont track macros or do interval training. Just getting outside helps clear my head after grading papers. Simple really. Trying to keep it sustainable so i dont burn out completely.

Quote from Thymeparity on February 8, 2025, 7:24 pmhon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

Quote from Oceanwaves1986 on April 30, 2025, 12:09 pmmy husband used to say the same thing back in our twenties. i just stopped asking him what he wanted for dinner and started making whatever i felt like eating. he either eats it or he makes his own. honestly it’s been way less stressful since i stopped trying to recreate my mom’s exact recipes. my food is just mine now.

Quote from Rebecca1976 on May 24, 2026, 7:05 amHonestly yeah. Im a serial snorer and post, divorce life is exhausting. Last time it happened my date laughed and covered me with the duvet. We ordered pizza instead. At this point honest is better than faking it. If they cant handle you being tired maybe they arent the one. Just roll with it.

Quote from Coralstone on July 29, 2026, 4:23 pmhonestly just grab coffee. keeps it low pressure and cheap. i text that i’m heading to starbucks and if they wanna join cool. if not whatever. no big fancy dinners where you’re stuck for hours if it’s a vibe mismatch. keeps it simple. don’t overthink it bro.

Quote from silverfox1970 on May 22, 2026, 3:35 amnope not worth the extreme soreness but totally worth the strength gains. For real, i lift four times a week mostly compound movements. yes it hurts for a day or two after back day but you get so strong so fast. the mirror dont lie when you see those shoulders pop out. just push through the initial discomfort. its temporary but the results stay. keep lifting sisters.

Quote from crimsonwhisper on August 20, 2026, 3:34 amSame thing happens here. For real, We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

Quote from Denise1997 on August 22, 2026, 10:22 pmi spent two hours at the elementary school today and honestly i just want to crawl into bed. the teachers were nice but they asked so many questions about his reading level. i feel like im failing already. drank three glasses of wine as soon as i got home. now watching tv and ignoring my work emails. same for you basically i think.

Quote from Fireconquest on August 30, 2025, 4:01 pmHoney, mine is dead too. My husband snores like a chainsaw so we just sleep. Honestly, I find more joy being alone with a glass of wine or reading a book. It's just life at this stage. Don't beat yourself up about it. We're grandmas now, not models. Enjoy the peace and quiet.
