Quote from elmtide on May 28, 2024, 3:52 pmMine hurt too after leg day. Tbh, I just ice them and wrap them tight. Rest is key. Dont push through the pain or youll make it worse. Drink lots of water and stretch gently. If it still hurts after a few days see a doc. My grandma always said listen to your body, it knows when its tired. Take it easy for a bit.

Quote from moonbeam2002 on June 4, 2024, 4:11 ami spent two hours at the elementary school today and honestly i just want to crawl into bed. the teachers were nice but they asked so many questions about his reading level. i feel like im failing already. drank three glasses of wine as soon as i got home. now watching tv and ignoring my work emails. same for you basically i think.

Quote from Oceanbreeze1979 on April 25, 2024, 5:32 amSame here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

Quote from Nebuladream on March 29, 2024, 5:20 ami just pack resistance bands and a jump rope they take no space. every new place i find a park for running or do bodyweight stuff in the living rm. consistency is key not fancy gym membership. if i dont work out for a week cuz moving chaos i dont stress just start again next day. simple habits stick better than intense routines when u are always settling in somewhere new tbh.

Quote from dalebrass on August 12, 2024, 5:14 pmok so this happens to me too ngl. Lol, i figured out its the fabric softener causing it honestly. that stuff coats the fibers and traps bacteria basically. just stop using dryer sheets or liquid softener on activewear. instead throw a cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. smells like nothing once dry but kills the funk. also dont let wet clothes sit in the hamper for days that makes it worse trust me.

Quote from marilyn1996 on November 18, 2024, 4:49 ami dont believe in auras but i know what burnout feels like. if you cant function through your day its exhaustion not a spiritual crisis. i took a mental health day this week just to sleep and eat real food. no screens. you need rest not a cleanse. drop whatever isnt urgent and go lie down. your body is screaming at you to stop. listen to it.

Quote from Karen1984 on February 27, 2024, 9:06 ami totally get it honestly. sometimes my body just feels like it clocked out for the day and my brain is stuck in overdrive. i just tell him straight up that i need zero pressure. usually we just cuddle or play on our phones until i actually feel present again. if i fake it or force it its worse. gotta protect my peace first or it turns into a chore and nobody wants that vibe.

Quote from Ashlake on February 27, 2024, 9:06 amMmm just wear big earbuds and zone out. Or put ur best workout playlist on loud. If they keep staring just look right at them dead in the eye till they get uncomfortable. My cousin does that and it works ez. Also wear ur hair up so u don’t have to keep fixing it. Focus on ur form and let them be dumb.

Quote from Starbronze on November 21, 2024, 7:21 amI dont even try anymore. After watching my grandkids all day im drained. I used to feel guilty but now i just stretch in the living room while watching TV. Its enough movement for me honestly. If they are napping i might do some light yoga but thats it. Total surrender to the couch is the best plan.

Quote from diana on August 1, 2024, 8:18 amYeah it’s super isolating. I just go in with huge noise cancelling headphones and try to invisibly blend into the background. My routine is strictly chest and back so i don’t have to interact with anyone. If someone accidentally bumps into my rack i just grunt and move away. id rather be home reading anyway lol. gym socializing feels forced and unnecessary. just power through and leave.
