Quote from Kathleen2003 on June 28, 2026, 5:08 amI stop chasing them. I find a bench and sit. If they want me to watch them swing or drop and run, they gotta come get me. I’m in my forties, my knees are shot and I refuse to jog after a seven year old anymore. They learn pretty quick that mom is stationary unless they initiate. Saves my energy and tests their legs.

Quote from Melissa1997 on September 5, 2026, 7:27 amit is definitely worse. Tbh, i stopped swiping last month because every guy under 40 wants a baby mama who cooks kabsa and cleans his house. i just want someone who pays half the rent and doesnt talk about crypto. honestly its better hanging out with my uncles at the weekend mall than dealing with these weird men. tired of explaining basic respect.

Quote from Evelyn1971 on October 23, 2025, 6:12 amHoney honestly at 54 i am just so done. Kids are grown and i got my garden to tend to so that clock just stopped for me. My husband thinks im cold but nah im just tired. We watch tv and hold hands most nights and that is perfectly fine. Dont let nobody make you feel bad about needing rest instead of racking the barn. Peace is good too.

Quote from AmberFire on August 23, 2026, 6:04 pmlol seriously. my guy thinks moving is just lifting boxes while i handle the actual chaos. we agree that for the first two weeks everything goes in trash bags labeled by room. no cleaning until everything is in its right house. if he wants it perfect, he helps me pack. otherwise he deals with the mess.

Quote from Catherine1991 on June 17, 2025, 7:58 amomg same. just sit cross legged on a folded blanket instead of floor. keeps hips higher so less pressure on tailbone. i use old yoga mats cut up as extra cushions too. dont force posture if pain is there. just breathe and let body find comfort wherever that is today. sometimes less is more tbh.

Quote from Boldpageant on May 4, 2025, 5:28 amhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.

Quote from bluffpeat on August 30, 2025, 2:32 amman i feel this so hard. my partner is the same way. its exhausting. i literally start withdrawing if its just about finishing. i tell him straight up that if he wants cuddling just ask for it separately. its not my job to assume hes cuddly after. i need connection not just release. its so tiring to have to manage his emotions around intimacy too.

Quote from SoftLakeside on January 22, 2025, 7:34 amMire. Same here. Yesterday i was walking to get coffee and out of nowhere i started power walking like my life depended on it. No one was chasing me but i felt like it. Then i got home and just collapsed on the couch. I think its just the caffeine or maybe im losing my mind lol. Definitely need a siesta after these random bursts of energy. So confusing.

Quote from icecount on January 24, 2026, 2:15 ami just go in my hoodies and noise cancelling headphones. keep the world out. i dont care if anyone looks. im there to sweat, not to perform. if someone gets in my way i just move. its really that simple. the anxiety is just my mind making up stories before i even step foot in the door. once i start moving it goes away.

Quote from christina1976 on June 29, 2025, 4:10 amuff girl me too my husband installed a baby gate in the living room but they still find ways to sneak in. now i just keep my dumbbells in the bedroom closet and do squats there. if they touch my yoga mat im done yelling so loud my neighbors probably hear it. honestly its so exhausting trying to maintain peace while working out. maybe i should just join a gym outside home.
