Quote from ironinsurance on May 30, 2022, 5:50 pmugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. Omg, i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.

Quote from sagescale on October 2, 2022, 4:44 amHonestly I just stopped caring about the scale. At 48 divorce was hard enough, didnt need to add body shaming to the plate. I gym to keep my joints happy and clear my head. If I skip a week, so be it. I walk my dog daily and lift light weights twice a week. Consistency over intensity for me now. Just doing what feels manageable keeps me from burning out.

Quote from Freehorn on December 6, 2022, 2:58 pmnah its not weird at all. i just broke up too and weirdly i miss cooking dinner and doing laundry more than seeing his face. being busy keeps me sane so now im just lost in the quiet. i spend my days running and lifting to get the stress out. it sucks but at least i have control over my routine now. its weird how much you take for granted until its gone.

Quote from Simplelife1977 on July 12, 2022, 12:26 pmI just say no and stop explaining myself. My body, my rules. If he cant handle that we done. I used to feel bad but now I see it as lazy communication on my part. You dont owe anyone access to yourself. Just be clear and consistent. If guilt creeps in remind yourself that you are allowed to rest too.

Quote from Luckycharm on August 20, 2022, 9:17 amuff girl me too my husband installed a baby gate in the living room but they still find ways to sneak in. now i just keep my dumbbells in the bedroom closet and do squats there. if they touch my yoga mat im done yelling so loud my neighbors probably hear it. honestly its so exhausting trying to maintain peace while working out. maybe i should just join a gym outside home.

Quote from Hornlock on April 11, 2022, 10:01 amSachi kaho, I had a guy like that too. Omg, He said sweet things but never showed up. I waited once, twice, then just left. Actions are truth, words are just air. If he wanted to be with you, he would make space, not excuses. Don t waste your time waiting for him to change. Pack your bags mentally and see what you want for yourself. Trust your gut, sister.

Quote from mountainrose1997 on June 12, 2022, 9:31 amLook I got that same knee trouble. I just take ibuprofen when I actually need it to move around. Not everyday though. My doctor said its safe in moderation. Also try putting ice on it after work. I keep a bag in the freezer ready to go. Works better than sitting there in pain trying to be tough.

Quote from Sweetdawn1995 on September 18, 2022, 4:53 pmnah just go. i always use busy work as an excuse to skip but regret it later. my family gathers every weekend so i try to squeeze in a quick session before them. keeps the stress down. even twenty minutes is better than nothing. dont overthink it. just put on your shoes and go. you will feel better after.
