lactic acid buildup feels like death is anyone else this sore
Quote from gentleforest1994 on January 24, 2026, 10:38 pmhaan gym mehnat hai. I go 4 days a week. Lift heavy things, run on treadmill for 20 mins. No fancy classes. Just me and the machine. Sometimes body hurts next day but I keep going. It is not fun always. But I feel strong after. My husband says too much exercise. I say no, need to stay healthy for kids. Simple routine works for me.

Quote from sophia1973 on December 6, 2025, 11:17 pmugh same here. i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Quote from Scarletbreeze on April 30, 2025, 7:34 pmI quit last year. Joined in Jan, went 3 times. Gifted my card to my mom who also doesn't go. Now I just walk the dog aggressively around the block. My calves aren't toned but my bank account is thicker. If you're paying monthly just to sweat guilt, stop. The money feels better than leg day ever did.

Quote from Ambersymbol on December 26, 2025, 3:23 pmYeah honestly. Hubby snores so loud i just give up after a while. We make out sometimes but that is about it. I think at our age it just is not the main event anymore. We hold hands and watch tv which is nice enough. Dont stress about it. My body just aches too much for anything wild.

Quote from wild1960 on July 18, 2026, 6:57 pmyeah totally. you never really relax when you know your lease is up in six months. i got tired of the drama so i stayed put for three years. finally got into a routine and a bf showed up. moving every other year just feels like you are on probation somewhere. hard to invite anyone over when you are half packed

Quote from Stormgala on May 13, 2026, 9:43 pmSame here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

Quote from TrueStar on August 30, 2025, 4:01 pmThat sounds like a lot of work. I keep my husband happy on weekends so I can sleep in during the week. We also have kids so weekends are basically for family time anyway. If he wants that much energy maybe he can focus on his own hobbies. Honestly I just want to rest too. My body gets tired from work and looking after the house.

Quote from Gentleroot on April 4, 2026, 2:16 pmmy knees feel like lead too after driving all day. i just pop up every hour to stretch my legs and do some squats if i can. sometimes i put ice on them when i get home. its crazy how much sitting hurts older bodies. try not to stay in one spot for too long if you can help it. take care of yourself.
