Quote from Goldenheart2002 on May 28, 2022, 2:32 amYeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.

Quote from leafgrind on November 5, 2022, 3:53 amgirl same. i thought it was just me. honestly tho its mostly hydration and protein. i drink like a gallon of water a day and eat a little something with protein right after i finish. before i was skipping the post workout snack and then i felt like death. try drinking more water chica. seriously. and don't starve yourself right after lifting. that’s my only fix.

Quote from Kim1988 on February 19, 2022, 4:32 pmGirl same. I look at him and my brain just goes offline. I say baby not tonight I can barely lift my head off the pillow. He actually started getting the hint after I threatened to move to the guest room every night. Now we do like twice a week and I feel like a better person about it. Rest is priority rn.

Quote from rachel1977 on November 17, 2022, 9:27 amI moved my shower time to early morning. By the time he’s done his long ritual I’ve already finished mine and started getting ready for the day. It stopped the waiting game completely. I just had to accept that’s how he takes care of himself and adjust my schedule around it. Works for now since we both get what we need without the passive aggression over the bathroom.

Quote from Scarletinlet on August 21, 2022, 4:59 pmHonestly same. That humidity gets to me every single night. I stopped trying to fight it and just bought those gel cooling pads for the mattress. Works a little better than flipping sheets. Also keep a damp washcloth by the bed and rotate it in the freezer. Not glamorous but it helps me get maybe six hours. Good luck out there.

Quote from Gateseed on October 4, 2022, 10:47 pmi just pack resistance bands and a jump rope they take no space. every new place i find a park for running or do bodyweight stuff in the living rm. consistency is key not fancy gym membership. if i dont work out for a week cuz moving chaos i dont stress just start again next day. simple habits stick better than intense routines when u are always settling in somewhere new tbh.

Quote from towerrain on March 8, 2022, 2:53 pmhonestly same vibe. my man keeps pushing stuff i just do not have energy for anymore. i told him straight up that i am tapped out. sometimes you just gotta say no to the new thing and protect your peace. i spent last weekend just sitting by the river refreshing myself. if you do not want it, do not do it. boundaries save marriages. he needs to accept where you are at right now.

Quote from Pamela2003 on June 19, 2022, 4:27 amgirl dont even sweat it. honestly its just biology doing its job. i used to feel weird about it too but now i just laugh it off. like hey thanks for being excited. it means he wants me. dont let it make you feel pressured or anything, just roll with it. sometimes i tease him about it being too fast lol. just keep it chill.

Quote from laura1965 on June 14, 2022, 11:06 amAura is just a fancy word for burnout. I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.

Quote from minthillside on August 11, 2022, 8:36 pmHonestly same here. Ngl, I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.
