Quote from SageSun on August 12, 2024, 5:14 pmnah i would just tell her straight up. tell her its not our culture or tradition here. we don't do that kind of stuff in the house. its confusing for my kids too. just say no politely but firmly. dont let her push it. keep the space yours. if she keeps it up ask her to do it at her place or temple. boundary setting is key fam.

Quote from sleetmarsh on April 28, 2024, 8:07 pmSame here honestly. After 2 kids, my energy is basically zero after work. I dont even think about it most days. We just sleep next to each other and thats it. Sometimes we try but im too tired so i say no. It has been like this for years now. I guess it is normal for us moms. My husband understands mostly but sometimes gets quiet about it.

Quote from Quietstorm1994 on December 2, 2024, 1:50 ami just stopped buying snacks there entirely. the markup is insane like paying for the convenience not the food. i pack my own water and granola bars at home now. saves like twenty bucks a week easily. yeah its annoying but its way cheaper to just do it the old fashioned way. my students think i am cheap but my wallet says otherwise lol.

Quote from Ann1965 on January 20, 2024, 8:23 amNot weird at all. Tbh, I miss making his coffee and folding his shirts way more than I miss the actual relationship. The drama was exhausting. The routine was peaceful. I still wake up reaching for the iron sometimes. It’s just quieter now. I’m learning to be okay with my own company instead of filling the space with someone else’s nonsense. It takes time but the calm is worth it.

Quote from Soft1993 on June 8, 2024, 9:54 pmI stopped trying to manifest money long ago. Now I just grind. I budget tight, pick up extra shifts, and invest what I can. If I want a new car I save for it or work a second job. Manifesting felt like waiting for a check that never arrives. Real talk its about action not just vibes. I focus on what I can control today.

Quote from GlowSoul on January 15, 2025, 4:17 amOye girl same here omg. After those 3 hours meetings my knees feel like jelly seriously. I swear its the chair or just sitting too long. I literally stand up every 20 mins to stretch if I can. If not I just ice them later at home. Painkillers dont even help sometimes. Its super annoying but yeah normal for us. Take care of your self!

Quote from Moonstone on October 28, 2025, 10:48 amugh right. i used to try deep breathing but it just made me more anxious. now i just zone out with loud action movies or listen to true crime podcasts. keeps my brain busy so i dont overthink. also ice baths help when my muscles feel tight from stress. honestly just numbing the noise out works better than trying to calm down. its exhausting being on high alert all the time.

Quote from FlameLake on December 26, 2025, 3:23 pmfr I got u. sometimes I just want somebody to stare at me like I’m the only person in the room again. stuff gets real and u just wanna nap or argue about whose turn it is to do dishes. I catch myself daydreaming about those late night calls where we just talked for hours about nothing. it’s not wrong it’s just human. I’m still trying to figure out how to keep that spark alive without losing my mind.
