is it just me or is dating in your 30s actually worse
Quote from WarmMeadow on March 12, 2021, 12:29 amHonest truth is most of us are faking it. I used to think sleep fixed everything until I got my iron and vitamin D levels checked. Turns out I was just running on empty. Eight hours of sleep doesnt help if your body is fighting a deficiency. Go see a doctor and ask for blood work before buying another fancy pillow.

Quote from Midnightmoon1966 on November 8, 2021, 11:51 pmSame here. Since getting older my knees are complaining loudly. I stopped doing strict fasts or keeping long padavrat because it puts too much pressure on joints. Now I just do light yoga and take calcium supplements regularly. My daadi used to say joint pain is common but I didnt take it seriously until mine started hurting. Its not romantic suffering. Just eating well and resting is enough for me now.

Quote from Warmgarden1983 on February 14, 2021, 6:55 pmArey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. Lol, Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

Quote from Hopechore on January 6, 2021, 6:17 amNot weird at all. I miss making his coffee and folding his shirts way more than I miss the actual relationship. The drama was exhausting. The routine was peaceful. I still wake up reaching for the iron sometimes. It’s just quieter now. I’m learning to be okay with my own company instead of filling the space with someone else’s nonsense. It takes time but the calm is worth it.

Quote from Starcistern on May 11, 2021, 12:15 amI literally just slide the dishes into the dishwasher over his shoulder while he’s still in the shower. He knows if he leaves them for more than ten minutes they disappear, so he cleans them as he goes now. I tried talking about it for a year and nothing changed until I just handled it myself and stopped asking since then it’s been smooth sailing. Hope that helps keep some sanity.

Quote from Free1982 on May 2, 2021, 8:57 pmi drink a cup of nettle tea before bed and keep my room pitch black. also stop scrolling right before sleep, the blue light messes with your rest. i noticed once i stopped eating heavy meals late at night, i wake up way more refreshed. try drinking a big glass of water first thing in the morning too, dehydration hides as fatigue sometimes.

Quote from finocean on September 1, 2021, 10:15 pmAura is just a fancy word for burnout. I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.
