is it just me cause my knees are killing me??
Quote from Bloomsand on February 10, 2021, 7:18 pmhonestly just keep it stupid simple. military life is stressful enough without trying to figure out a ten, step routine. i stick to ceraface cleanser, moisturizer, and spf 50. thats it. if my skin looks trash i just sleep it off. stop overthinking it. complicated routines are a trap. consistency beats intensity every time. just wash your face and slather on sunscreen. really.

Quote from Redtoken on February 22, 2021, 11:06 pmHonestly not weird at all. For real, We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.

Quote from Butterfly2002 on March 1, 2021, 4:25 pmSame situation here man. Omg, My husband acts like the kids are not his. I am exhausted holding everything down while he just sits there. My mom and sisters literally had to step in to help with the little ones otherwise I would have collapsed. It drives me crazy that I have to do everything. Just venting cause I have no energy left for this nonsense. Need a break badly.

Quote from beth1986 on October 11, 2021, 2:57 amHonestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Quote from Sweetdawn1977 on October 30, 2022, 5:56 amHoney that is just hard. Omg, I told my man if he keeps doing that I am sitting down. I dont cook clean and raise kids alone. We made a schedule last Sunday after service. He does dishes and laundry I do dinner. If he complains I tell him to talk to my sister. Yall gotta make him pull his weight.

Quote from Wingcontract on October 30, 2022, 5:56 amHonestly yeah. Im a serial snorer and post, divorce life is exhausting. Last time it happened my date laughed and covered me with the duvet. We ordered pizza instead. At this point honest is better than faking it. If they cant handle you being tired maybe they arent the one. Just roll with it.

Quote from Moorcloth on January 3, 2022, 6:15 amyeh frustration samajh sakti hoon. Tbh, main bhi sochti thi kafi time tak. finally realize kiya ki protein intake bohot low tha. ab har meal mein meat ya eggs add karti hoon aur heavy lifting karungi, cardio se zyada strength training focus karti hoon. abhi 2 mahine huye hain par difference dekh rahi hoon. consistency hi key hai, chalo phir.

Quote from Ironepic on November 19, 2022, 11:08 amnah its not weird at all. i just broke up too and weirdly i miss cooking dinner and doing laundry more than seeing his face. being busy keeps me sane so now im just lost in the quiet. i spend my days running and lifting to get the stress out. it sucks but at least i have control over my routine now. its weird how much you take for granted until its gone.

Quote from Sarah1978 on October 5, 2022, 5:00 pmYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.

Quote from Mistsoul on November 7, 2022, 11:34 pmhaan gym mehnat hai. I go 4 days a week. Lift heavy things, run on treadmill for 20 mins. No fancy classes. Just me and the machine. Sometimes body hurts next day but I keep going. It is not fun always. But I feel strong after. My husband says too much exercise. I say no, need to stay healthy for kids. Simple routine works for me.
