husband says he’s too tired for sex after 12 hour shift again
Quote from Tiffany1982 on January 8, 2026, 3:06 amLook I got that same knee trouble. I just take ibuprofen when I actually need it to move around. Not everyday though. My doctor said its safe in moderation. Also try putting ice on it after work. I keep a bag in the freezer ready to go. Works better than sitting there in pain trying to be tough.

Quote from grace1997 on February 13, 2025, 5:08 amugh same here. i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Quote from Hoardonjon on November 6, 2025, 2:32 pmI just put my headphones on and ignore it. Honestly half those people are probably looking at themselves anyway I do my thing and leave. I’ve been in three different bases so far this year so im used to feeling like the new kid everywhere. Just focus on your workout and try not to overthink it. People are usually more concerned with their own appearance than yours.

Quote from bluefair on August 22, 2025, 11:13 pmim a teacher too so i totally get this. its not just you. i keep a big water bottle on my desk and force myself to drink from it all day. dehydration hits hard in the afternoon. i also try to eat a small snack with protein around 2pm like a handful of almonds or string cheese. it helps keep my energy from crashing so hard at the end of the day.

Quote from Hoperay on August 25, 2025, 12:38 pmSame thing happens here. We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

Quote from moormine on June 2, 2025, 3:45 pmYeah totally. We just moved last month so I’m already running on fumes. Trying to settle in while keeping up with coursework is brutal. Im usually asleep by eight if I dont have a late class. My husband is deployed so its just me and the kids right now. Some days I just blank stare at the screen wondering how anyone keeps going. Coffee helps but only for about an hour.

Quote from SunnyRose on November 10, 2025, 11:08 amhon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.
