husband refuses to shower before bed seriously
Quote from Warmgarden1998 on June 6, 2025, 8:16 pmUgh that sucks. My ex used to do the same thing. I just stopped engaging. If he says something wild I’d either walk away or say whatever’s on my mind directly. No more tiptoeing. It’s exhausting trying to manage his ego. Honestly if he can’t respect your feelings he’s not worth the stress. Sorry u’re dealing with it.

Quote from Moonbeamstar1997 on June 14, 2026, 6:24 pmi feel that. For real, moving every few years makes it hard to stick with a routine or find good spots. ive been lifting heavy and just focusing on strength instead of the scale number. the scale goes up bc muscle weighs more but i look leaner and feel stronger. honestly ignoring the number is the only thing that helps me not hate the gym. just keep showing up.

Quote from Megan1990 on October 15, 2025, 5:31 amYeah totally. I used to say yes to everything and ended up burnt out before the season even started. Now I just ghost people who ask favors if theyre not close friends. Saves me so much mental energy. If they get mad they werent worth the hassle anyway. Focus is everything when you have real goals. No guilt allowed.

Quote from Capeorchard on March 13, 2025, 5:20 amOh honey that sounds awful. I quit the treadmill years ago. My knees just couldn’t take it anymore. Now I walk around the park near my house. Much nicer. Fresh air and sunshine. Try lowering the incline or speed. Or just stop. No point hurting yourself. Drink some water too. Feel better.

Quote from Copperwork on February 28, 2026, 12:07 pmHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

Quote from Cometharbor on June 13, 2026, 4:43 amYeah totally normal. My man does this all the time. He just shuts up and goes outside or looks at his phone. I used to think something was wrong but then i figured out he just needs space to recharge. Now i just let him be. If i bother him he gets cranky so i just go do my own thing too. Its peaceful actually.

Quote from Goldgem on February 2, 2025, 4:43 pmbasit, true feeling like garbage is not normal. Lol, I am 58 now, body pain starts after breakfast. But I walk in park every morning with chai in hand. Doctor says keep moving. Sar ka bhari pareshani? Forget it. Just eat good food and sleep well. No drama please. Life continues, we just have to adjust our chappal and keep walking.
